Oh my goodness, I loved this place from the first bite! Everything was DELICIOUS it was made FRESH so it was hot , the wings were my favorite! They were flavorful and crispy. I also enjoyed the catfish bites and the ribs too. The side were were poppin too. Let me tell you about fried cabbage and the candied yams -actually I won’t, just go and try them yourself. And don’t forget to pick up dessert while you’re there b/c that banana pudding cake I’m still smacking my lips behind that cake lol I apologized to them for sleeping on the business for so long but not no more!

This place is small town delicious . Fried okra tasted like granny’s(she was born and raised in SC) we are from WA and this food hit the spot. The people working were the kindest people hearing them great every customer and knowing there locals by name I just loved it. I loved the gal that walked in and said her parents would be by to pick up supper after church. That made my heart whole. The cake was so good and my daughter ate all her wings and Mac n cheese. This is the spot to be made me feel at home thanks again for everything

Restaurant review: Sister’s Soul Food, not as soulful. I had their catfish nuggets, sweet yams and fried okra today. Unfortunately, it was not a good meal I am very dissatisfied. The catfish was tasteless with no seasoning the sweet yams are not homemade and is out of the can, and the fried okra tasted as if it was box Frozen okra thrown in the grease. Not a soul food place I would recommend.

Willingly paid $50 for a wing dinner with six additional sides. I love soul food and wanted to try everything. But this was a no for me dog. Everything tasted and you could immediately tell isn’t homemade…. Like absolutely nothing.

Everything was hot and fresh!!!! Taste sooo good!!!! I will always return when I come to Canton Ohio…came all the way from Columbus Ohio….the catfish sandwich was oonnn point!!!!! Omg!!! Prices was kinda high..I spent $50 on 3 dinners…and a wrap and strawberry cake/cheesecake and drinks…but it was good…!

Got some ribs was delicious, also got some green beans w potatoes husband said they were made from the soul wanted to try the greens but they accidently forgot them..but I can almost guarantees just as good next time will be returning for sure. They was also very friendly really touched my ❤️.

This place came to me from a few recommendations from friends/ family and it did not disappoint. Fried catfish fillets were outstanding. Fried okra and beans/ potatoes were worthy sides. My wife said the chicken tenders were some of the best she’s had in a while…..and the BBQ sauce is something. Soul food at its finest.

I was NOT feeling expecting to find a place this damn good in Ohio of all places! I’m a huge fan of soul food and I’ve traveled a lot due to work… I can honestly say this is the best I’ve ever had! Fresh & hot, crispy, flavorful whiting fish with fantastic greens that were perfectly cooked (not a tinge of bitter) and delicious fresh fried okra. I’m honestly kind of upset that I likely won’t be traveling to Canton at any point in the near future.
