off top, their beef is crazy (that’s a good thing). from my experience, the server is always personable and nice. the music is played at a good volume. some may say this restaurant is a but pricey but if the product is good, what would you expect? lastly they prepare the food at a rapid pace which serves me well bc in an instant gratification person lol. the beef garlic noodles is my personal favorite btw. peace

A casual sit down restaurant. Utensils are self-serve on the side, and you pay up at the counter. Tables could use a deeper clean. Food was pretty good for a typical sizzle plate restaurant, you won’t go wrong here. The radish cake appetizer was better than I thought. Meat portions were less compared to other places, but still decent. Ambience overall was pretty quiet, although the square itself was crowded so parking is a bit iffy. Men’s washroom door was broken.

Came here on a Saturday night around 7pm. When we walked in, the place wasn’t packed, but it still took 15 min to get a table. We did get water right away. They only had 1 waiter and we had to wait about 20 min to get our food order taken. Anything I asked for, like drinks they didn’t have, dessert as well.

Fast, casual, lots of Asian options. Good if out with a group and in need of something for everyone—Viet, Taiwan, Thai, Korean, Lao, etc. Can’t say if it’s authentic though, but tasty and pretty presentation. Pan fried radish cake and beef garlic noodles were fab! Shaken beef too salty and overcooked easily on the hot plate, can’t recommend. Will be back to try other items.

We came on a Wednesday at 1pm. The place wasn’t busy, there were only 2 occupied tables when we came. The place was very spacious, loved the earthly tone of the furnitures and the decors. And since the place is almost empty, we got our orders real fast. The foods were delicious, the serving size was good. I can’t compare how this place looks like when it’s packed, but I’m glad we came on a non-peak hour. Service was very good too, not excellent but better than most. Overall, it was an enjoyable lunch for me and my son.

We are so fortunate to have found Sizzle Spot. We ordered the Mam Mam Sizzle Plate, the Beef Garlic Noodles and the Saigon Sweetheart. From other reviewers, we selected these dishes. I am so glad that we listened to their recommendations. Enjoyed chatting with Tim, a nice young man, who gave me a little history about the restaurant.
