It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Went on June 2023 at night with 4 kids. My ribs where very good, my husband’s steak was good. The coconut shrimp and other kind of flavored shrimp weren’t that good (I wouldn’t order them again). Lobster was mehh. Unlimited salad bar was delicious so where the chicken wings. The ice cream at the end was okay. Kinda expensive but I would definitely go there again with my husband and leave the kids at home next time! Our server (a older gentleman) was the nicest waiter I’ve had in the longest time, my kids even told me they liked him. The hamburger in the picture was from the kids menu, my son had eaten most of the fries by the time I took the picture. The other hamburgers looked bigger and better. Before I forget, the buttered bread they give you while you wait is delicious! I ate some bread with some soup. We where full by the time the food got there. Took a lot of leftovers home.

This Sizzler is what a real American-style family restaurant should be—wholesome, high-quality, comfortable, and affordable. It has a wonderful selection at the hot foods, salad, and dessert bar, though I’d wish that they’d had more hot foods and choices there…but then again, that was just me. However, the steaks and burgers there are truly a crowd-pleaser. I recommend it for families and diner aficionados alike! Two thumbs up.

I was very impressed during this visit, the server was attentive and friendly. The music was low so you could hear the person across from you and the room temperature was just right. The food has improved since the were closed for the pandemic.

Been sitting at booth waiting on drink for 20 minutes. Literally us 2 and 2 more in whole restaurant. After 20 minutes, more came in, 2 tables got their food. Still sitting. Asked for manager. Rude waitress says she doesn’t know where one is. My husband is currently standing at order desk, waiting on a manager to show up for a refund. Terrible! Just Terrible Then…this used plate came to us. Really? Corporate will get this call.

Great time at Sizzler. I had steak and shrimp and they were both cooked perfect! This was my first time at this location. The staff was friendly and accommodating! 1 item was missing, the order of extra mushrooms, and it was brought swiftly to the table! I will go back the food and staff are wonderful!
