The cashier we dealt with this evening was so incredibly rude. As soon as we walked in she was already snarling. After we ordered we went to our table and waited for our server. Luckily our server read back our order and we realized there was a mistake with the one meal. Our server went to the cashier and the cashiers response was that my husband ordered that particular meal and he was wrong. Regardless if he made the mistake in ordering or if she made the error in placing the order, she had no right to continue harping about her being right and being loud to where people can hear her complaining. Then she continued to glare at me across the restaurant while harping about being right. How can you enjoy your meal when you have someone throwing a tantrum. We ended up getting a refund. This cashier has no business working in the restaurant industry.

This place is not impressive. For instance, the salad bar was NOT kept stocked in the middle of the day; as a result, there were a few empty containers. Also, it has a very weak selection of meat. Next, i noticed that no one was using gloves even though the sign said everyone must use it. The gloves were there but it was hard to see them. They were not placed where they are supposed to be, next to the large spoons. I am myself did not use gloves for the first time because i did not see them where they are supposed to be, and later i went to wash my hands. However, when i returned for the second plate, that is when i noticed on top of the tall structure a box with gloves. And, i used them immediately. I believe, for the manager of this restaurant, this job is very difficult. Because, he or she doesn’t have time or will to come out and check if everything looks good and sound at the salad bar. The good example about how this kind of the restaurant should be run is a Sizzler’s restaurant in Pinole, CA.

Sizzler Salad Bar is still in town. Their variety of salad bar is not very good. But Clam Chowder soup is good. Most personnel servers are not very customer-care minded, but one waitress is serving great. I often eat here because of a good senior rate. Not best recommend place but good to have one nearby.

Growing up Sizzler was the best place to go. But things have changed. We asked our server for a second plate of the unlimited shrimp and he looked at us like we are crazy and then proceeded to ignore us. So we just got up and left the meat was overcooked and tough and the shrimp were not juicy they were totally overcooked and a little bit burnt. And unfortunately there were only a few workers who were busy doing things that really didn’t have anything to do with serving food.

We were three people. We wanted to try a menu of a Sizzler restaurant. Two of us ordered the steak and robster. Another one was fish and ship. We added slad bars, then drinks. The food looked good. One of our steak was over cooked, burned, and tasteless. We had asked to change for a new one. The service was fine, but seemed to be very busy. The salad bars was so so. Overall was not as good as we thought. It was over price and the quality was not as good as Applebee’s.
