Great service. Best salad bar around. Had prime rib, it was tough and dry. Many friends have eaten there before and after. All said the prime rib was fantastic. I will go again because I believe it was just an unlucky night. I have eaten in other places and have had good and not so good. To be honest, I have never heard a bad thing about this place.

Had the broasted fish special on a Friday night. It was delicious! Salad bar is excellent. The atmosphere is a little hectic. We will be going back. This place also has an excellent catering service.

Nice restaurant in the small town of Galva, Ia. Quick service at the seat yourself store. I ordered the daily special breaded pork tenderloin served with fries.

This was our first night eating dinner here. My husband ordered a steak and was very impressed with it! This was a steak of a good size, not a skimpy thin one. My husband was very happy with it. I had the chicken alfredo, and the grilled chicken was very delicious! It was a good sized plate full, not an overkill. We will definitely be going back soon!!

It is one of our favorite places to go usually…we went there tonight for our anniversary… VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Got there saw there was no salad bar..#1 reason we go there..waitress told us salad bar was just the weekends…quite rudely I might add…so we were ” let’s just get the broasted chicken” …then we were told ” only the left side of the menu”.. we paid for our 1 drink nd left. We love sizzling J’s..so we will go back, but tonight was a huge disappointment!

Billy Boyz Food Review #2. So tonight we adventured down to Galva. And had the chance to done at Sizzlin J’s. And tonight on the menu was sandwiches and wings. I ordered the Philly brisket sandwich and fries. And I ordered some honey bq wings. And I love chicken and the wings were so delightful to eat and taste. And Troy has homemade barbecue sauce for 5 dollars per jar. And it is worth it. Yummy! And Tami ordered mushroom and Swiss burger and some mushrooms. By the way never did get to taste the mushrooms. It took about 20 minutes to get our food. Plus i got the chance to drink 1919 root beer and it was so good.
