Stop by this japanese tenpayaki style restaurant on the second day of soft opening for dinner. It was not crowded when we arrived. We were seated right away. The first question was :Have you been here before? This was the 6th or 7th location in the Bay Area. To be honest, this is the first time I have heard about this restaurant chain even though I have been in many restaurants before.

New restaurant right on corner of shopping center. Light and bright Asian decor with digital menus. Sizzling plates come out and you should mix right away. Meats cook fine but veggies end up too crunchy. Noodles are tasty but portions are not large. Overall very good but not amazing. Ill try more dishes and see if they have more flavor.

It’s ok but nothing special. Is it just the novelty of the sizzling plates? You don’t get much meat or other stuff in your order, so need to add extras (which all costs extra as well). The meal is pretty bland so you need to add a lot of their provided sauce to have any flavor. Service is good but overall not worth it especially if you have to wait

Especially for what is currently a soft open, this place was amazing. Great food at good prices for what it is, friendly staff, and surprisingly low wait times. Other than ordering being done with an iPad at each table running some iffy software, I couldn’t think of anything to possibly complain about. And I came in an hour before closing!

Good but portions sizes a bit small for the price ($15). Could use more flavor. Came out fast and service was decent. An annoying thing is that the suggested tip amounts are calculated on the post tax instead of pretax total. It’s a sneaky way to get more money so calculate the tip yourself rather than using the suggestions.

First of all, one might think that just because the name of this restaurant has the lunch word on it, it doesn’t mean lunch is only served. They are open all day for dinner, too. The food is really good. Service staff are great. Lots to choose from the menu, which is right next on your table in the form of a tablet. Come visit, you’ll come back for more.

Just went here for a work lunch. The table and ordering set up is a little strange as each table has an immovable/stationed iPad and since it was a table of 7, the person next to it has to input for everyone. We had everyone look at the menu on their phones too.

Great first opening day dinner experience, please note they are still in soft opening so come early before they close the waitlist. Plenty of parking in the area. Great service from staff they made sure to check everyone’s tables while food was coming out. The food was better than the Berkeley location with the same customization options. Definitely try them out! Will be coming back once the cane drinks are ready.
