Great food, not so great service. I tried to call ahead to place a to-go order (their fried shrimp is delicious), but the guy who answered just said “I’m not taking orders over the phone, just come in” and then hung up. I understand that you’re busy, but you can have better customer service.

We had pulled pork sandwiches and a side of fried okra. Both were really good. They make their own BBQ sauce which is exceptional. It’s not the typical super sweet sugary sauce but has a little spice to it. We loved it and will definitely be going again soon.

My first time at Skeebo’s was yesterday. I’m so glad no one was around me to hear my reaction, after my first bite of my smothered liver and onions…. JESUS!!! The gizzards were heaven too! The flavor was everything!!!

We had not realized there was a good soul for spot near us but glad we found Skeebos. I swear I felt like I was eating delicious leftovers after visiting someone’s auntie’s house. Cornbread was nice and light, portions great and I was full but not sick full it was just right. That baked chicken fell right off the bone. Very good we will be back.

Ordered a lunch to try them out. Got the ribs with fries, ordered side of Mac and cheese and green beans. The ribs were the star in this dish! Flavor and texture was a 5. Fries were at 4 they were good. Green beans were plain so I’d say a 3.5 but didn’t taste like canned beans so they were good. Mac and cheese I was expecting smothered in cheese but it had a Stuffing taste to them so I’d say a 4. Overall enjoyed my meal and would return to try something new on the menu again but the ribs may be hard to not try again and again. Quick service and great staff. Highly recommend to try.

Soul food at its best! The fried chicken is my favorite. Crispy, flavorful skin not greasy or too salty. Corn bread is delicious with a hint of sweetness. It pairs perfectly with the collard greens and fried okra. Homemade mac-n-cheese is loved by all the kids. If ordering the fried chicken dinner, be prepared to wait because the XL drum stick takes 30 minutes to cook but it’s well worth the wait! Skeebos will not disappoint.

Food was good! Whoever answered the phone hung up on me when I apologize and said I had to call right back. Instead of him acknowledging me and literally hung up on me. I still called back and ordered because I’ve been wanting to try the food. Went in to pick up my order and everyone was just blah personality. I’ll give them another try and see how it goes. And will update review then.
