A great monument, that all Americans should visit but come prepared for weather changes. We wanted to see it at night with the lights, and it was raining too hard. The next morning the mountain was fogged in so we sat and contemplated the mysteries of life for over an hour. The Park service takes very good care of the monument and there are nice facilities here. A good restaurant with many choices, and good restrooms.

More than I expected with my Holyoke experiences! Eggs were cooked perfectly, not an easy feat these days! Becky was friendly and efficient, checked on me at perfect times. Food was delicious and all the staff was nice. Highly recommended!

I pulled in after the restaurant was technically closed. The owner/manager/hostess (????) told me they were closed but she would see if she could get the kitchen to make me the “daily special.” Unfortunately, all the fixings had been put away. She then came back and offered me a club sandwich—it is absolutely delicious and the customer service here is absolutely unbelievable!! This is a place I will visit at EVERY opportunity!!

Prime rib was excellent, but it was served with a baked potato the size of a hard boiled egg and horribly overcooked, almost inedible. I like this place and just hope they can improve some of the small things that disappoint diners. The salad bar is nice, but needs some improvement. The rocky mountain oysters are excellent and worth going just for them. I wanted dessert, but the waitress never even offered, so I still don’t know how their desserts are. I am rooting for this place to succeed as Holyoke deserves a great restaurant and I hope they can improve.

We had a terrible waitress. Told us to be quiet from across the restaurant and when we tried to put sugar in our drinks she yelled at us. Food was alright, it was mainly the service that makes you mad because they make you feel like an outcast!
