I ordered DoorDash so I didn’t get to experience dining in. My meal reminded me of some good ole backyard cookout food. The container I had for my to-go meal was your regular styrofoam container but all my meats were mixed together and I didn’t like that. I couldn’t taste a difference between the pork and chicken. The brisket was really good and baked beans. The spicy mac was mid it was super super cheesy almost dry. I think I would order from here again but as a last option.

I’m not sure I got the expected experience, but will describe my order and results. I was only able to order brisket chopped because they didn’t have sliced. Totally fine. I was told sauce was on the meat.

These photos should speak for themselves, but you can always count on Skinny Kenny’s for a spiritual BBQ experience! We are so excited about their new Portage location! We’re used to making the drive to Mattawan, but it was worth it 10 times out of 10.They have the sweetest staff (always coming out to the dining area and asking guests how they’re enjoying their food), the most diverse menu, and absolutely incredible food! We love Skinny Kenny’s!

I had the bowl with brisket. The chopped brisket was very dry and lacked any smoked flavor. The Mac and cheese and corn bread were ok but without a good meat they were kind of bland. For half the price it would have been good in a filling but bland kind of way but as it stands it’s disappointing.

I love this bbq place and only come here for it. Everything I’ve ever had here is top notch and very flavorful. I highly recommend their bbq ribs and their wings. All their sides are good too! Their greens and their skinny beans are amazing. When I treat myself to something sweet I get their homemade banana pudding. Best banana pudding I’ve ever had in my life. All the staff is super nice and just all around it a great environment.

I’m disappointed…. That I live on the East side of the state. Just finished the Mac n cheese bowl w/ BBQ brisket. I would and most likely will drive the 2.5 hours to eat here again. Such a great find and would absolutely endorse anyone asking to eat here. A true must!!!

Placed an order to go! Told the kid what I wanted was very specific!! Work 2nd shift got to my job to find out the kid did not listen my order was ruined covered in everything I said I DID NOT want. Can’t take it back can’t eat it was a waste of time and money Called them to complain. Kid says well what do you want us to do about it. Didn’t offer to credit my account so I said have a nice day . Will not be returning!!!!!
