I had never been there before I had the chicken wrap which you can make the way you like it it was the best chicken wrap I’ve ever had and I have had many the view from the bar food area was gorgeous as the sun was setting and glistening on the waves as they rolled in I had the best time they had great music in the background reggae and other alternative type instrumental music and had a great Vibe the service was impeccable and everyone was so friendly and welcoming I will definitely come again and I recommend that you stop by when you get a chance

Cool and quirky on the Ohio River. We had dinner here and it was fun. There was live music that evening. We had a chicken salad, Grippos burger, and mozzarella sticks. Bloody Mary was good, your typical zing zang and some fixings. I also tried a pina colada and liked it but would try something else frozen the next time. Took away a star because the menu is limited. Service was great and friendly. Will be returning, even if it’s just for drinks.

We had just finished some hot, sweaty work and were tired, hungry and miles from home. Passing through New Richmond, we resolved to stop for food but didn’t want to make spectacles of ourselves with our disheveled appearance in a dining room full of civilized people. Skipper’s, with its outdoor dining area with a fresh breeze coming off the river was a perfect choice. In no time we were hunkered over baskets of fish and chips with beer. A great way to finish a productive day.

I came here on a Friday evening about an hour before sunset and absolutely loved watching the sun go down over the river. There is a nice, laid-back river-life ambiance. The food is very good and fairly priced. (The crab-cakes were some of the best I’ve had anywhere.) Ducks love to frequent the side of the boat and it is fun to throw fries to them and watch them all scramble for one. Overall, this is a great place to come for food, drinks, socializing, or just enjoying the river view.

Had a wonderful time. Great view the food is really good. Had a steak hoagie but should have tried a cheeseburger. I was in a wheelchair so wasn’t sure how I was going to get in there. The owner Skipper came out to the car helped me into my chair and rolled me in and after lunch was over took me back out. Talk about service!! I was so impressed and very happy he went out of his way to help out

We only saw Skipper’s from the lovely bench on Susanna street, nice boat dock / ramp and landing. Will be back for lunch happy hour says they are open until 2:30 am. We could not hear voices or music from below.
