Good food at fantastic prices. Service was warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed their baked potato, and their mild wings. Those were the best. Grilled chicken was golden brown and delicious and not too try. Was better with butter on top though. Would go again.

Great little roadside place! My wife and I have been here twice in the last 2 weeks. Skip does not disappoint with great food and a friendly, simple atmosphere. Food is great and prices are awesome. Kudos to Jessie (sp?) too for great, friendly service. Give the catfish and burgers a try. Don’t forget some homemade pie for dessert! We will be back!

My boyfriend and I stopped by for a quick dinner on our way from Kentucky to South Carolina. The reviews held true. The food is delicious and the prices are shockingly low. The staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere itself is very welcoming. If I lived locally, I’d definitely be a regular at this place.

We have been visiting the area and good food is not something that we had been experiencing. We visited Fall Creek Falls and needed somewhere to eat afterwards. There aren’t too many choices of food nearby so we chose Skips. It is a small little convenient/market store but very clean and our waitress was super nice and inviting. We ordered the fried pickles, which by the way, are the best fried pickles we have ever had. They have red pepper flakes in the batter which give them this great little kick. The corn nuggets were also good. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a steak sandwich and they were just delicious. The pecan pie is out of this world though and everyone should try a piece of it. We highly recommend this little out of the way gem off the highway!!

We stopped by Skip’s for breakfast before heading out to Falls Creek Falls. It was a pretty simple, unassuming place, but the food was good and the prices low. We got to meet Skip who was serving and working the grill. He was very nice and made us feel welcome.

Friendly staff. Best onion rings ever (get the battered ones)!!!! Everything we ordered was delicious. Corn bites, fried pickles, burgers, catfish plate, hush puppies, Peach cobbler, it was delightful & filling! Kind of out of the way, but worth the stop!
