The order taker, Quinshawn, is always a polite young fellow. The food is good. A small wait is normal because they cook to order. The food was fresh. The lobby and dining area are normally clean. The bathroom could use a little attention on this visit. That was the only issue. Everything else was good.

First timer. Prices were higher than I expected since it’s fast food. Menu has a wide selection of fish, plus chicken. I found a whiting fish sandwich around $9 w tax to be the least expensive. Their daily special was the same whiting sandwich w fries & fountain drink for the same price! Decor is smooth-hard surfaced & functional. The waiting area consisted of booths in front for take-out and an adjacent room with ample tables for dining in. Skrimp Shack boasts they make the fattest and best fish “samwiches” in town. My sandwich lived up to its billing. Be sure to request their tartar sauce, since the sandwich comes plain. It’s a huge meal, hot and tender, w generous portions. They happened to add fries. I enjoyed it very much and thought it was a good value.

The staff was very nice in helping us with our orders. I asked what they recommended as it was my first time there and they gave specific items that I might instead of just saying general stuff. The food was great and they even brought it to our table since we were dining in. Everything was clean and they had spacious tables so nobody was on top of each other. I’ve passed this place so many times and was not disappointed when I finally stopped. It’ll be my to go to place after work and to bring my friends. Thanks for the welcoming service and yummy food!

I am so disappointed! I ordered dinner to be delivered for me and my teenage grandsons. There was so much missing from the order that none of us had enough to eat. One shrimp basket was supposed to have two orders of fries. No fries were included. One order was supposed to have fries and broccoli, no broccoli. My fish basket was supposed to have collard greens and Mac and cheese, no Mac and cheese. Also, no hush puppies, no free brownie. I ordered both. I realize it was close to closing time, but this is ridiculous. The fish and shrimp were delicious but I didn’t order large quantities so we are still hungry. Frozen pizza is in the oven. If I had wanted pizza, I would not have ordered from you. I had filled out my order for Captain D’s and cancelled it. I spent twice as much for Skrimp Shack and got half my order. I would appreciate something to make this right or you have seen my last money.

So I rarely leave reviews but I had to today! Honey!!! This food was so delicious, I thought I made it myself. I ordered the fish (whiting) basket with fries and hush puppies….oh and a side of crab meat. (I know I’m greedy! ) I also got a sweet tea. Everything arrived fresh and hot. That fish was cooked to perfection. The crabmeat was fresh and delicious! The hush puppies were also delicious and much appreciated since I am from up north. Finally, the sweet tea was so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. I work from home so to get more than your money’s worth delivered fresh and hot is a luxury that I do not take for granted! Thank you Skrimp Shack…you have made my day! Sorry I don’t have any pics…that food didn’t have a chance!

This is my favorite restaurant!! Since i’ve been pregnant with my son my only craving is Skrimp Shack Mac and Cheese, its incredibly creamy, better than Panera’s mac and cheese and you get more for half the price! The staff is so friendly, I love them!

They have banana pudding as a dessert. I asked the lady at the register does it have a few vanilla wafers in it. Her exact response was I don’t know I did not make it and walked away. Well the answer was NO. It had half a wafer in the bottom. Things are expensive but there is no way wafers are that expensive.

We finally found some bomb tacos out here! Being from San Diego, CA and after living in NM and TX for over 2 years really raises the bar in Mexican food. Looks like it’ll be seafood Mexican food while I am out here! Yum. I really like the shrimp tacos (spicy with mango sauce).
