Who knew that this quaint gourmet restaurant was just off the path ? Worth planning around a meal here. Roger and I were on our way home from Branson and randomly selected to stop and get lunch at this cafe. We were thrilled from the delicious savory tortillas soup to our hot sandwiches, topped off by hot coconut pecan pie.

This place was great! Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. The cafe offered indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere is really inviting. The food was delicious and all seemed so fresh. Most of the menu items seemed to be healthy choices. They also offer a wide variety of beers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be making another stop when I’m in the area!

Geez, what a gem of a place to eat!! My wife and I ordered sandwiches and they were fantastic! I got the Cuban and she got the turkey avacado, both were amazing. We also got a slice of pecan coconut pie and chocolate espresso pie. Dear lord, just amazing! Highly recommend coming here. It’s a cool, quaint little cottage house turned into a restaurant.

I love going to skylark. So cute & unique! I LOVED the seasonal papas fritas, & I’m still a big fan of the Italian Grilled Cheese. The Lemon Lovers cake is my FAVORITE, whenever they have a slice. I wish the spinach dip was more spinach than cheese, but that is just a personal preference. You can’t please everyone! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the area! 🙂
