My boyfriend and I had some delicious food and family-like company. They treated us like old friends and the beer was cold while the food was fresh and out of this world. It was an honor to invoke Hank’s spirit in this down-home atmosphere. They really took care of us and if you’re thinking about stopping in, DO IT! You won’t regret it! Me and my girlfriend was hungry this evening and wanted something other than fast food. We’ve passed by this place nearly everyday and decided to stop by. I won’t lie. It doesn’t look as inviting on the outside. But please, don’t let this detour you. Upon entering, we were greeted with nice and down to earth people. The woman took our order and the wait wasn’t long at all. We got the BBQ and fries. It was amazing food and not too pricey either. It is rather small but it’s very clean and has a homey feeling. Will be returning.

Look, if you want atmosphere or cuisine, try Chili’s. This is not that – it’s a bar in a trailer-sized diner on the side of a little road in Nowhere, WV. And it’s also clean and the food is good and really inexpensive and the proprietors will treat you like long-lost friends when you walk in the door. I can’t think of any place I’ve ever been where, after eating and on the way out the door, the locals at the bar all said “Bye, nice meeting you.” The Hank Williams connection is a little overplayed but an interesting tidbit; taken with a side of made-to-order chicken tenders and an excellent loaded baked potato, it was just fine.

Note: Hours for the kitchen are posted as the hours, but the bar stays open later. The kitchen is closed on Sunday. Skyline offers great atmosphere, history, beer, and food. I ordered two hotdogs with everything, ( chili, slaw, mustard, and onion ) it does come with a dash of pepper, but everything about this hotdog is extremely well balanced. Each bite offers the same flavors individually and not one is overbearing. The slaw and chili are made homemade and are amazing. The slaw tastes fresh and isn’t too runny or thick. The chili has a nice mild flavor and is meaty not runny. The hotdog itself tasted like an all beef hotdog and wasn’t over cooked, nice and plump. I also ordered waffle fries which they offer waffle and regular, they were cooked evenly and had a nice crisp. I’m also uploading a menu for this place and have updated the phone number and hours. Definitely would recommend this place, very budget friendly and great food all around.

Omg the burgers are incredible!! I think I know their secret lol great low key place for burgers amd drinks. Taco salad and hotdogs with coleslaw was delicious. Never had coleslaw on a dog but it was delicious!!! Homemade food in a hidden spot. So happy I told about this place from the mechanic. Food was priced cheap too!!!
