Chowder fries were great. The surf and turf burger was okay. Didn’t feel it went together flavor wise. The shrimp roll lacked seasoning and it was more batter than shrimp. The staff and service however was fantastic.

We went to Slapfish during its soft opening weekend, and we had a fantastic experience. It is truly a modern fish house that you would normally find somewhere near the coasts. The decor was awesome, and the food was even better! I had a secret menu item called the Dagwood, which was a delicious fried fish sandwich with coleslaw and French fries on top. We also enjoyed the clobster grilled cheese that was decadent. Their fries are delicious. Management was very nice as well. Highly recommend!!

Was excited to try it out. But wasn’t impressed. Not bad, but not great. Service was good. But my lobster grinder with spicy aioli wasn’t spicy.. salad was just a few stemmy leaves of spinach and cabbage with few raw veggies on top. Mom’s fish n chips tasted like old fish. Was not impressed at all

Fast food quality at a restaurant price. The fries were certainly frozen and likely to have came from the same batch as McDonald’s. The shrimp roll was nothing more than 8 shrimp in an undercooked Texas toast pocket thing. The “roll” lacked any inspiration at all. No flavor to the shrimp and nothing to support it. They give you a piece of a pickle spear maybe as a joke? Don’t really understand the appeal. You oder at the counter and make your own drinks (fast food style). The overall ambiance of the place is similar to that of other fast food restaurants. The only thing that didn’t remind me of McDonald’s was the price.

Great food, nice location. Cozy, but dining room may get crowded at peak hours. Had the ultimate shrimp burrito & it was delicious. Great portion size, very glad the cashier suggested it. Was very impressed with management going around to each table & checking on the customers. I am intrigued by other menu items I haven’t tried yet, so looking forward to my next visit.

The service was fast and the food was good. There was a little too much slaw on both dishes, the tacos and salad, which hid the fish/seafood aspect. However, good flavor and choices. I loved that they mention sustainability with regards to catching seafood but then only offer disposable utensils and no composting of food waste or a recycle bin. I would definitely go back but look forward to every part of this restaurant being sustainable.
