Our first time here. Manager was very friendly and helpful. We sampled the slap sauce and it is divine. The lobster roll was delicious. I added some slap sauce and some of the coleslaw that I bought. After adding a little bit of salt and pepper to the coleslaw and squeezing a little lemon juice on top, it was a flavor bomb for me. I could taste the buttery lobster meat melting in my mouth. Will definitely come back for more. I may even try the lobster crab melt.

Wonderfully plated and delightful. Slapfish gives a new take on American Mediterranean. The bowls, tacos, and other options give you healthy choices. I love the teas and the local selection of Breweries. I had seared tuna which was perfectly cooked. This place is worth the visit!!!! Albuquerque help fill this place. They’ve made changes that are worth the experience!!!

The food presentation was beautiful. It tasted even better than it looked. An excellent balance of sweet and tangy and acidic and alkaline. The price was great for the amount of food. They also had some excellent fruity tea options.

Great food hear, I walk here often when I don’t feel like cooking. I am glad a place like this is close by where I live. I love the Surf & Turf burger. A bit pricey but the taste is so rewarding after a long day of BS meetings at work.

Used to be really great. They changed something and it was not worth it. I ordered the Lobster/Crab Melt. I was not satisfied with the food. The crab and lobster filling was about a couple of tablespoons and the rest was bread. Not the $17 sandwich I ordered. When I brought it up with staff I was offered a refund, but then after they spoke to the manager they only offered to redo. I was told that they are delivered (not Fresh) that way and did not know why they were missing filling. They said they only butter the bread. So I left the restaurant with nothing. All I ate was fries. I contacted the company twice and did not even get a courtesy call or email. Never going back.

They recently changed the menu and the quality of the food is now trash. Don’t let the bright colors fool you, the fish was over cooked, tiny for the price and all around not worth it. We were so excited to go for dinner last night since historically they are one of the better choices for seafood- however-that has changed. We will NOT be back.

I ordered the cold lobster roll. I was not expecting so much mayo. By weight there seemed to be more mayo than lobster. I don’t know if it is an option, but if you order the same, also for easy mayo, or 1/2 the normal mayo amount (unless you really like mayo more than the taste of lobster)

So glad we ate here today. Lunch was delicious. We both had the fish and chips- one order with cod, the other with mahi mahi. The battered fish was perfectly cooked, with a light and crispy batter and the fish cooked just right. The seasoned fries were also excellent. This was easily the best fish and chips we have had in New Mexico. Highly recommended.

I used to go to Slapfish about twice per week. It was absolutely fantastic. It had everything going for it, great menu items, a big board of fresh fish, and awesome hot sauces you couldn’t get anywhere else. But recently they changed all of these things.

Don’t stop in here. 30 minutes into our wait for food we were informed that the rice cooker hadn’t been working all morning and did we want burritos with no rice. 45 minutes in I got a cold melt. And when I say cold I mean COLD. 50 minuets after ordering still no burritos. It’s not like this place is busy with only 3 other tables here. 55 minutes after ordering we complained.
