The food is good decent bar food. Exactly as you would expect a local bar to serve. Good portions. Decent good quality. Good selection of a typical beer list. Full bar, but we only had beer. We both had pulled pork. It was a very large portion and prepared well enough. I finished every bit of it. Do yourself a favor and always get sauce on the side not on top. Good, hot fresh onion rings. Not soggy or too greasy.

Very cute place. The burger was amazing and looked absolutely delicious. The crab cakes and beans we’re also delicious. I wasn’t really too into the steak or the French onion soup but they definitely weren’t the worst. The soup was lacking cheese for my taste and the steak was lacking seasoning and more butter

This was our first time there. Great atmosphere. Julie took care of us,she was sweet,friendly and attentive! The food was very delicious! We tried the Quarry burgers and mozzarella. We will be going back to try something else!! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant every other month or so for about 20 years, it used to operate as Florer’s. It has always been very good, and I was definitely a fan. I have many friends that have been doing the same. We all loved it there, good food, nice staff. After tonight, I will never bother to go back. Very poor wait staff that seem unable to be busy and still care a little bit about the service, be halfway pleasant, or care about the quality of the food. We had a group of six, six out of six said their food was mediocre at best. I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and a bowl of chili. The others in our group got their apps, my chili was missing. We now have a different waitress, and she says she will get one for me. Big surprise, my chili comes 2 minutes before my barely warm, and on the dry side, ribs. How AWESOME! It was also the smallest 1/2 rack I’ve ever seen. You could have served it on a big roll. The chili was still good, at least.

Always a great experience at Slate. The Cobb salad is huge and mostly toppings! Definitely don’t skimp on the chicken, Bleu cheese, and bacon! Highly recommend.

Had a quick dinner before sons practice. He loved the burger. The crab cakes and the pit baked beans were great. The steak and vegetables were ok very bland and under seasoned. But will definitely go back again when I’m the area to try their brisket.

We had the Cheesesteak sandwich. The meat over cooked dry, the roll was not fresh, and fries were probably frozen – definitely not freshly made. Very disappointed with this Cheesesteak meal. Won’t be ordering again.
