Good vibes decent food, great service. The food was okay, not superb. The garlic bread was yummy but had barely any garlic taste to it and the salad portion was very small. The fettuccine was good though! Pretty platings.

When the garlic bread is the star of the show, then you know we were not happy with our meals. The service was great. Atmosphere fine. There were five of us. Everyone felt the dishes were mediocre. Did the marinara pasta sauce come from a jar?

On the eve of my Mom’s wrist surgery, Slay was the pre-op meal choice. She broke it playing pickleball a few days prior as she is an absolute warrior. Just picture my peanut of a mother (5’1 on her best day) laying her body on the line for her Tuesday night pickleball group made up of Manhattan Beach moms.

This place is beautiful. The food is delicious. If you’re looking for a good meal made of real food…this is the place. The parking in Manhattan Beach is ridiculous. We ended up parking a few blocks away and Ubering over. Gotta say it was worth it. The Caesar Salad omg ate every bite. If you’re hungry and you want something goooood!!! Fresh capers, flavor and the service was human. No pushy, rushing stuff. We didn’t have room for dessert but that’s ok because the food, wine and service left us TOTALLY SATISFIED and because it’s in Manhattan Beach the streets and weather are perfect all day for a little walk after your meal.

Love this place! We visited once and now go every Friday. The sushi chef is an artist of presentation and palate. The service is phenomenal. The sushi is ALWAYS fresh. Highly recommend the crispy rice and spider roll!
