I drove a little out of my way to get pizza for lunch here, because I learned that they make their own mozzarella. I loved the pizza! I got a slice of cheese pizza and a green salad. I ended up ordering two more slices and ate them there. I had a long conversation with Kai, the cook, about dough and cheese making. It was a really nice lunch.

I am very picky about my pizza and I was hesitant to try this place, but it is now my favorite pizza place. I originally went here 3 or 4 years ago, and every time I come back to Charleston, I make sure I stop by here to get a slice or two. So yes, they sell pizza by the slice. The sauce is sweet and flavorful (the word robust comes to mind). The cheese is tasty. The slice size is sufficient. I ordered 2 slices, but I could have/ should have been fine with 1. The crust also has a sweet flavor. It is like they worked on getting the best flavor for each of the components separately so that when they are together, they sing.

Eating this delicious pizza the next day and holy smokes Todd can make a good pie. Easily the best place for pizza in the area and one of the only places you can stop in for an authentic slice. They even have gluten free and vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. Can’t beat the flavor or the service.

We had cheese pie, it was very good. The crust is exactly how I like it, the perfect amount of sauce; it is properly seasoned, and it is a good quality cheese. We will come back for sure. Obviously, the very few negative reviews of this place are an example of meanness or some sort of mental defect on the part of the people leaving the negative review. In particular, the person who threw the perfectly delicious pie in the garbage and posted a photo. I wonder how many starving people there are in the world who would have given anything to eat one slice of that pie. Also, think of the hard work and time the people put into this place to put out a good product for the community before you get all whinny and try to hurt them on the Google review.

Not a lot of places to sit and eat but the pizza is delicious. Honestly, it was all I could do to not eat an entire pie myself. The crust was crispy crunchy and had the right level of thickness. When I’m in Charleston again, I’m definitely stopping by. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for that NY style crunchy pizza.

We ordered when we got here ans as we waited several regulars came in and (the person I presume is) the owner knew them all. Knew about their friends, family, jobs, hobbies… It’s honestly so heartwarming. The food is great! 10/10! I wish I lived here so I could come here all the time. Great food. Better people.

That Gluten Free Pizza is awesome!! I feel like I have actually had pizza for the first time in 7 years. Everyone else sells a premade frozen crust and it tastes like cardboard. Yours is fresh baked perfection! Oh and I am supposed to say that the wife loved her normal crust pizza as well!

One of the best slices of pizza I have ever eaten. I’ve been to all the famous and highly lauded pizzerias or NYC and Chicago and I can say that Slice Co in Charleston, SC is right among them. The Grandma Pie was the stand out slice for me. The crust was perfectly crisp, light, and full of flavor. The sauce is fanatic and blends perfectly with the cheese. Complete perfection. If you live in the area or are visiting I cannot recommend this place enough.

DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!! I really wish I could give these place 0 stars! My sister & I ordered the 18” Vegan cheese pizza (because the offer slices on all pizza EXCEPT the vegan one). Prior to ordering we saw that they used ‘Follow Your Heart’ vegan cheese, which is the best cheese for vegans as far as taste. Long story short, they DO NOT use this cheese any longer! I ate ONE slice & nearly gagged! Not only was it dry, the cheese tasted awful!! My sister also strongly disliked the pizza & called to make a complaint & was given a full refund! I called & spoke to the manager Todd who scoffed & said “NO! I’m not giving both of you a refund”. This is very disheartening as a customer who paid over $30 + tip & was declined a refund when they literally gave one to my sister who they thanked for not doing a bad review & calling. Do yourself a favor & DO NOT eat here!!! Bad customer service on top of bad food!!!
