This is our go-to pizza place in Wilmington! Staff is always super friendly, pizza is always great, and we actually go out of our way for their wings. With football season about to start we’ll be there for the Sunday package. Best part is they always have available seats so you never have to wait. Highly recommend!

Pizza was excellent, we had 18 inch sausage and artichoke toppings. The wings were a bit soggy, for my taste.

This combo right here. Slice of Life has the best Greek salad Ive ever eaten. This is a small and imo, is perfect for one person.

Food and drinks were great! The host seemed like he couldn’t care less. He sat us and then continued to walk by us over and over for the next 15 minutes. We overheard the bartender ask if anyone had helped us yet and the host said we had just been sat. The bartender told him we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. The bartender then took our order and served us the rest of the night. Great place. Clean, bartender was super friendly, good food. I would definitely have a talk with the host who wears basketball shorts and doesn’t seem to care though.

I have visited Slice of Life in Porters Neck a few times now. I ordered a meatball sub and although the sub tasted great, I waited 45 minutes for it (very few tables seated inside) and another 30 for the server to bring me the ticket. After waiting 25 more minutes for the server to come pick it up and run my card, I asked another server to run my card. Terrible service and I never write bad reviews. I will not be returning.

Solid 4 stars, the pizza was a 5. The wings were a 4. Service was good but a little slow 4. The atmosphere was that of a typical sports bar / pizza restaurant. Prices were on the high side for pizza.

My visit was 3 December 2021 for dinner before my Wilmington Historic 5K the next day. I didn’t know what to eat but was tired from my drive, I read the reviews which to me were not hitting high but I figured I would give them a try. My order was a takeout and I did have a beer while I waited. Figured one slice of pepperoni pizza and some garlic parmesan wings. Place looked nice, staff were very pleasant, atmosphere seem nice. So, my slice of pizza should have been the only thing I got. It was okay, but pictures say a lot, but the wings were horrible. Not cooked well, some cheap garlic sauce thrown on them and parmesan in a container to the side. Really. At least they could soak the wings in the garlic sauce. Then I really can’t believe the cook or preparer actually picked up the celery sticks, put them in the container and not looked at them. Don’t know if that was by design, but I wonder. Disgusting, all the celery sticks in this batch where they came from were contaminated. Wasn’t a good thing to serve this to someone in the medical field. They were lucky I was too tired to walk back across the parking lot for my money back. However, now I understand the poor ratings I came across. If you are smart, think twice and never again.

when we arrived we asked to be seated outside and we were told no – the hostess even confirmed with the manager as we really wanted to – it’s so terribly noisy and cold inside. This was confirmation the bad service is coming from management. we saw people seated outside … and 15 minutes later we saw they started seating people outside again. we couldn’t be more disappointed. just accommodate your guest’s request for crying out loud. Its just that simple. Will not be returning.

Slice of life does have good food. Nothing to write home about aside from the outrageous prices. 25.49 not Including tax for 1 pep and sausage pizza is outrageous. The taste isn’t worth that much to me. I rarely go, However if treated I enjoy their food.
