Not a place we’d normally opt to stop at but thanks to winning a gift certificate from the radio station we did and we are so glad we came! The pizza was really good, not greasy at all and the crust was great, different than any other hand crust we’ve ever had! If you’re looking for boneless buffalo wings with extra flavor and more of a kick these are perfect for you! They’re really good! And those breadsticks…superb, extra flavor! Best thing though….the homemade ranch! Hands down THE BEST YOU WILL EVER HAVE!! Bottle it up and sell it, seriously! Self poured craft beer on tap by the ounce was a great option and perfect for tasting different flavors! The staff is great, very personable and the environment was perfect! We will be back again to try out The Dill-ight and the dessert!

We picked this place based on other reviews and wanting to try something different. We were passing through after a family road trip and needed dinner. Slice did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and gave us a rundown on the menu. We ordered a cheese pizza for our son and the Margherita for us. The crust was fantastic, with the perfect amount of sauce. Our son is picky about his cheese pizza, but he ate 4 slices, so we kenw he liked it! We’ll definitely make this a regular stop when we’re in the area.

Slice On Oak is a fantastic find for delicious pizza! My wife and I stopped for a take out pie while we were in the area. As transplants from the New York/Philly area we never really trust “NY style” pizza here in the Midwest but Slice On Oak NAILED it! Crispy bottom, chewy crust, just enough sauce (nice savory tomato flavor) the perfect amount of cheese, and FOLDABLE slices! As a chef, I’ll admit that it’s tricky to get a glowing food review from me, especially when we’re talking pizza, but Slice On Oak- I’d give you 10 stars if I could. Excellent!

Pizza from Slice On Oak is great, but not so great when reheating it as the end crusts end up near inedible. For a freshly cooked pizza everything is great, but I base my review on pizzas being entirely edible or not after reheating it. I have to say if you’re looking for pizza that reheats well, you’re looking in the wrong place, but If you’re looking for a pizza for a party or a large meal it’s great.
