Showed up early on Sunday so not much of a crowd yet, but the service was amazing. Pizza “veggie pesto” was really good as well, I think better than the downtown Birmingham location. It was definitely faster than the downtown location as well. The patio was also a nice chill vibe when we were there.

My first time going to Slice and it was great. The pizza was incredible and the atmosphere was very chill. I really liked the vibe. Our server was very sweet and checked on us frequently, which is a huge plus in my book. They had great drinks and a great selection. I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered two pizzas, a little piggy with jalapeños and extra sauce. Very veggie with no peppers on cauliflower crust, one order of wings. Total $72.33 not including tip.

We had a nice experience at this new establishment. Got to meet one of the owners, Jerry (in the pictures provided) who was very nice as he made hus rounds checking on customers. We ordered the tots appetizers and let me tell you they were absolutely anazing! Seriously. We also ordered two pizzas, a 12″ broccoli crust “margarita” topping (kindo plain for my liking but my sister loved it) and a 14″ regular crust “old school” topping and both were delicious. I absolutely recommend this new pizza place!

Since they opened in Montevallo we have eaten here several times and have yet to be disappointed. Pizzas are great and served promptly. The afternoon specials and Happy Hour are nice options for savings. We prefer dining outside in the ‘arbor’ but inside is also nice. We haven’t been seated in the annex site yet (in the second building) so we don’t have an opinion about that option. Highly recommend!

For a place that was packed, we got our food really fast. I wish I had gotten the employees names because they were fantastic! The young woman with her blue hair pulled back in a scrunchie at the front of the outdoor seating was extremely sweet and helpful. We had a young man with dark hair and glasses as our server and he was so attentive and always made sure our drinks were full. Every pizza going by looked and smelled great. We had the Wing and a prayer pizza (minus onions and tomatoes) and it was 10/10. Cant wait to come back and try more.

The pizza at this place is really delicious. I love the flavors and presentation of the pie. My favorite so far has been the BBQ brisket because of the delicious chunks of brisket on the pizza and the mingling of the BBQ and horseradish sauce. I also suggest the wing and a prayer if you want buffalo wings and pizza, but I can’t decide this option gives you both! Oh and the staff is so kind every time I’ve visited. This place is worth visiting!

Barely any sauce, I asked for extra. The cheese can’t cook properly without enough sauce. Check out all of the other reviews talking about the cheese being “burnt.” The half with pineapple was almost edible because at least it had something acidic to pair with the cheese, but not enough. If you are a REAL pizza lover, you know that the sauce is the most important part. Pizza is like a burger, the crust is the bun, the cheese is the cheese, the toppings are the condiments, and the sauce is the BEEF. some people like burgers with small thin patties, but real burger lovers like a thick patty and maybe 2 thick patties. The first time I went here I thought It was just a new cook or something, but now I know that they actually think this is pizza. Someone who works here told me that the owners travelled to Italy or new york or something to try to learn how to make pizza. I think they completely missed the point. Its chemistry.

The salad was extra small for the price ($8). Added chicken for $4 and was only given one chicken strip. So $12 was pricey for a salad the size of a fry box

I was so disappointed. I have heard so many good things about Slice Pizza in Montevallo. I ordered 2 pizzas today. It was during the half price promotional time frame but somehow I had to pay full price. I wasn’t pleased but shook it off thinking that I would still have great pizza and that sometimes it is worth the extra cost. I got down the road and opened the pizza boxes. Both pizzas (Margherita and Soul) were way overcooked (burnt). The cheese on both pizzas were not melted but rather burnt and tasted like leather. The Soul Pie looked like it may have tasted good if it were cooked correctly and not overcooked as it was (burnt). I was sadden to see the margherita pizza had a small amount of basil clippings. I was expecting basil leaves. At the cost of $18 per pie, I had higher expectations.
