Even though this place is not highly rated, for my family and I, coming from Alabama this was actually really good as far as chicken tenders go. I appreciated the options for many sauces and the dessert in the jar gave me a nice jar to put sea shells in and have a nice little souvenir. I will go back this place when we visit again.

They use way too much salt on the chicken. This is not a good place to eat if you have possible heart problems. I had to remove the breading off the chicken tenders to make them edible.

Very helpful and courteous young lady took my order. The place was very clean and had everything you need at the condiment counter and soda fountain. The food was fresh and tasty, as were the sauces (of which there were numerous choices). I was almost turned off by the reviews but I’m glad I ignored them. The restaurant was spotless. I also thought the prices were very reasonable. Definitely try the chicken and waffles. I got my chicken on the side and they let me choose a dipping sauce for it. We’ll be coming back again.

This is my first time at a slim chickens and I had low expectations but fortunately they were exceeded. The chicken was hot and crisp, even on a sandwich. The fries were crispy. Even though this place is fast food. The person who brought us our food also brought us condiments, like ranch. Great service! I would go here again.

I’ve been to Slim Chickens twice now since they’ve been open. I went around 11ish and then around 130. Both times i went through the drive-thru in a total time of less then 10 mins. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I ordered the chicken tender meal the 1st time (the 1st week they were open) and the chicken sandwich meal the second time I order. All my food was fresh, hot and seasoned well. I also ordered a brownie jar and got the “Navarre” cup for a additional $.50.

I gave this place a few months of time after opening to get it’s legs under itself before trying the food. I’ve been here three times and the service has been great with friendly staff and the food is consistently good. The restaurant is new but still seems to be clean which is important for obvious reasons. The parking lot is easy to navigate with plenty of parking and multiple exits which means it’s not a headache to come here for lunch or dinner. The booths are large, which is important for those huge American customers that like to complain about every thing while swallowing their food without chewing or saying thank you. Be mindful of negative post, people think paying $10 for a plate of food gives them the right to be treated like its the Biltmore. Those same people also have smart phones and a voice on Google.
