We asked for a romantic table and were astounded by the private table with an exceptional view. We both had the salmon. The drinks were great. The salad was huge. Violet and Vanessa were amazing waitresses. Beautiful restaurant inside and out. We would definitely come back!

The best part about Slopeside is the view. In the summer you can see the alpine slide and the beautiful greenery. The food was very average but the buffet was expensive ($32). The service was fast though. Not sure if it’s different during busy season but you had to eat from the buffet for lunch as opposed to it being optional and having items from a menu as well. They had a decent range of foods in the buffet but the food was nothing to brag about. The experience however because of the view and the activities offered was very positive.

I was there on May 21st for the Sunday buffet with 10 other guests. There was no one else in the restaurant which should’ve been an indication. It was very disappointing. There was a choice of potato soup or tomato soup. The potato soup was a joke, diced potatoes in a broth. The salad bar area was the only thing that was attractive . The hot food buffet consisted of an alfredo type pasta (dry), some type of sliced beef, which was very dry and a broccoli, cauliflower combination for the vegetable. I don’t know what happened to this buffet, it was very disappointing. I definitely won’t be back anytime soon.

Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious but shared with a friend. Had half of her steak hoagie and it wasn’t good. Meat was dried, no onions or peppers were on it, more bun then meat and if their was cheese my half didn’t have any. Worst steak hoagie ever.

The seafood buffet is back and great. Sit, eat too much and enjoy the hills of Pa. Follow the dinner with sitting in the sun on the deck and enjoying a drink. Perfect
