This is one of the best places to eat in all of Vancouver, WA. Extremely affordable. Very filling. Creative meals that still have that classic chilli/cookout vibe. Clearly cooked with a ton of soul. If you like unseasoned food don’t come here, this place is flavor town. Everything seems to be made from scratch here.

I rarely give 5 stars. This place is exceptional. The cornbread is made with ancient grain corn or something and was so hearty. We ordered all the sides (collards, potatoe salad, zucchini) and they were all exceptional. It was fine dining quality food for a fraction of the price- too good to be true. The people that own this place are also kind passionate people from what I could tell. I wasn’t feeling Chilli and my boyfriend convinced me and I’m so grateful he did. We live in Portland where there’s an abundance of awesome food bit I’ll be driving back up here just to come here. They have an outdoor patio too and I had my pup which was a really nice added bonus.

Standard menu items are consistently delicious only to be delighted with the current specials like peanut stew, BBQ and veggies side dishes that make you forget you are eating something good for you. Also, pick up chili to-go to reheat at a later date. This place is a real gem!

Don’t skip out on this little spot! My husband and I loved it. I had Ray’s Red. Hands down the best chili I’ve eaten. Perfect amount of heat and full of beefy goodness. I appreciated the gluten free offerings, especially the cornbread (celiac). Friendly owners, with the most adorable decor. We are definitely going back!

Wow! What a true gem and wonderful option for Vancouver’s food scene. Slow Fox is absolutely awesome. The chili is unlike any you’ve had before. Savory, hot, fresh ingredients, and a killer menu. Had the Carlos chili and a chili dog today. Carlos came with corn bread that is out of this world amazing and we topped it with slaw. Derek, the owner, has done a great job of keeping his food fresh, menu tight, and facility sleek and clean. Can’t wait to return and try the secret menu! Definitely give Slow Fox your attention. You won’t be disappointed!
