1st time here! Good spot for driving thru Martinez. Staff was friendly and chill! The sweet potato tots and SAUCE was the star amongst our two meals. My bf wanted to try the stouts they had on tap and the gals gladly provided.

Can’t say enough about how good the food is here!! Went for lunch and had a loaded baked potato with brisket – delicious!! Took home some brisket to eat later – absolutely fabulous. The smokey salty flavor and crispy edges of the meat along with juicy fat make this one of the best places for bbq I’ve ever been and my home state is Texas. Friendly welcoming staff, too! I’m going back soon, maybe tonight.

The place smells so wonderful, it beckons you in, but it disappoints in the flavor department. The pulled pork was so overly sauced that the bun underneath turned to mush. With so much sauce, you couldn’t taste the pork. The brisket looked like it had been steamed. Again, not a lot of flavor. The woman at the counter was very knowledgeable about the beers, though, and was very friendly.

Saturday flip of a coin , driving downtown Martinez & figured we would give it a shot ,really pleased that they had some live music in the back patio . I tried the Ribs which were tasty , I chose the German potato salad as a side & honestly there was to much vinegar for Me ,but it might be for you . All in all , we had fun & it wasn’t to pricey.
