My partner and I were so looking forward to eating here for a very long time. We finally decided to take a 5 day trip to Rhode Island and this was our first stop. Unfortunately we were both extremely disappointed.

Had the best experience here! Highly highly recommend for anyone in the area. The food was delicious—even our picky four year old loved everything. If you’re deciding between anything on the menu, the poached eggs were perfection!

When you enter you see a larger photo of Chef Sharon Pockett on the wall and articles highlighting her contributions to local indigenous cuisine. There’s a video on a tv screen playing in the back where you can watch the inspiration behind Chef Sharon’s Sly Fox Restaurant. Overall, my company was lovely but the wait staff could have been friendlier. As a foodie and lover of history I’d have appreciate more education on the food items I was about to consume.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere with fantastic food. I ordered the Taters omelet (potato’s and chorizo) and it was gigantic. The serving size made it worth its price. The potatos on the side where a bit bland but not bad. I tired my friend corso beef hash and it was delicious. The meal took a while to come out but it was worth the wait given the quality and freshness of the food.

Great little shop with a unique selection of entrées and foods that would be hard to get otherwise. It is made fresh and did take 20-30 minutes to recieve the food. We got the greens salad and the vegan bowl and they were great. The rice in the vegan bowl was smoked which was actually delicious. One downside was that while waiting for our food and also while eating my family was trying to have a conversation but had trouble hearing eachother over the loud TV in the customer seating area that some of the staff were sitting and watching. That did take a little away from the experience and made it a little less enjoyable. Overall the food was great quality and is worth a stop if you are in Charlestown and want something unique – although I would suggest getting takeout.

I had the smoked salmon hash with poached eggs and corncakes with cranberry relish. My friend had the firecracker spicy garlic sauce and a corn polenta.

Love it here, it’s BYOB too. Great good food, their chicken is fabulous…their Indian pudding and bread they bring in beginning is good. (You may have to ask for that now, not sure) I loved their pork appetizer -cant remember the name, but it’s shredded pork and fig spread on bread- delicious. Very good spot!

Unique offerings and delicious combinations. We’ve been twice. Once for breakfast, once for dinner. Paella was amazing!! Eggs Benedict type breakfast was awesome too! It’s made with corn cakes, which can be made gluten-free, and venison sausage. Love the baked beans and smoked salmon too! We ate indoors but they have outdoor seating too. Go there to relax and socialize with friends. The strawberry lemonade is delish!
