Sheboygan Brat Plate
Sheboygan is the Bratwurst Capitol of the World. Which is why our Famous Sheboygan Double brat plate comes with two Grand Champion Miesfeld’s Brat’s “the one’s that made Sheboygan famous!” served up the right way. On a City Bakery Hard Roll fresh out of the brick hearth oven, with a side of baked beans and home made American Potato Salad. This is an old classic around here and is eaten in as many different ways. All of which are good. Some folks like ’em just the way theu are, others maybe just a little ketchup. Another common approach is the works. Load it up with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions. It won’t take long to realize why we insist on the ‘Sheboygan’ style hard roll. Still for some you can’t beat the traditional German approach. Piled high with sauerkraut!

Fab bartender named Shane…made our night! I was just bummed that the kitchen was closed because they had smelt on the menu. Good drinks, great music and good people!

Sly’s had a great hometown bar atmosphere with absolutely great food. The Philly in particular was probably one of the best that I’ve had one quite awhile. My wife had another sandwich that she also thought was very good as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

This place is decent but not my vibe. It attracts an older crowd so not my scene. Whenever I’ve come in, they’ve had movies playing on the TV instead of something easy to watch while sitting at the bar, like sports, which I thought was odd. They also have karaoke often, which is fine, but it’s remarkably loud to the point where you have to shout to talk to anyone. The bar is cool, but if you can’t get a seat, you have to take a table which feels set apart from the rest of the place. I won’t make it a point to come here but would stop in if I’m with a group who would.

Picked it out of a Biker coupon book, had no expectations other than a place to stop and eat. The staff was very friendly, food was good. Seems like a fun place, will be back again!

If you are from Wisconsin…and want a classic Wisconsin tavern. This is it!! Open for breakfast 365 days a year. Got in for lunch, but people were still drinking bloodies and screwdrivers and finishing their eggs. All looked good. Did the classic Sheboygan Double Brat Plate and it did not disappoint. Barkeeps were on the ball and prices were spot on. As a ‘Sconnie bar guy….this place is spot on.

Sly’s Midtown Saloon and Grill is a great place to stop for a bite. I love Philly cheesesteaks and this one did not disappoint. The vegetables were fresh and the meat was very flavorful. Sly’s was clean and the staff was super friendly. I would give them 5 stars but I ordered friend mushrooms and they were a little burnt. Overall I would stop in there again.

Tried to place a to go order for 15 minutes. The bartender guy told me i have to wait for his bartender to come in as she was running late. Then he proceeded to take the only other person who was in the bars order. I asked him for a second time for a menu which he promtply set out menus. I waited about 8 more minutes to complete the 15 minute time i spent there. No one took my order. When the bartender arrived the man told her i was ready to order. She went to talk to her coworkers for that whole 8 minutes. At least my drink was strong.
