Small Favors is a wonderful local restaurant. Located a block from the square, it is very easy to get to. We went there to try out their new lunch menu and had a great time. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had the daily gumbo, bacon bap, and a side of fries. The gumbo was by far the best dish, extremely flavorful and a good portion size too. The bacon sandwich was good as well, the bacon was very thick so it felt like I was eating very good ham. It had their spicy ketchup on it so it has a kick! The “side salad” is arugula with some dressing, but it is nice and light. The fries were excellent and seasoned well. They serve hopscotch coffee and a lot of their meat is from fisher farms. A great local restaurant sourcing from other local spots! Overall a great experience and a great restaurant.

Nice space to be in with all the natural light on a sunny morning for brunch. All the food we had was very good. Unique offering for the area. The fried chicken was incredibly crispy. Nice selection of wine. Also creative wine based cocktails. Will definitely be back to try their dinner! This is a great addition to the Bloomington bar/food scene.

This is one of my favorite places in town, and it makes me feel like I’m OUT of town. The quality of food and service are exceptional, and when you sit at the bar, you always walk away feeling like you’ve just made a new best friend. Staff are incredibly friendly, and I love that the menu changes frequently and features local and seasonal fare. Truly, this place is a gem. Luxurious and cozy. And don’t miss their oyster happy hours from 5-6!

Lots of vegetarian options for me and amazing cocktails. I think the “mirror image” is possibly the best cocktail I’ve ever tried. Service is incredible and the staff is friendly. I can’t wait to go back and try new items!

Lots of great options! My picky husband liked everything as well! Our favorite was the scotch egg & grilled cabbage. I could eat more grilled cabbage! The duck was a little dry 🙁 but everything else was amazing

I have been to Small Favors once for dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is a rather new entry to Bloomington’s dining scene, and what an entrance it has made! Upon walking into this cozy establishment, you are truly made to feel welcomed. The service was excellent throughout the evening and the food arrived much quicker than expected!
