No complaints about the taste of the food or staff; both were really good. However, for nearly $12.00 I would expect more than just one side. And that $12.00 didn’t include a drink, that was just the pork and one side only. We were still hungry after we finished and asked if they had any desserts, and they didn’t. Just left us very unsatisfied and underwhelmed. Not sure we’d make the 15 minute drive back out there.

Very, very good BBQ sandwich. Super lean and moist and generous amount of meat. Cozy dining area and delicious small brand soft drinks. So pleased this is close by. Will certainly be back.

Food is very good although you only get one side with your plate meal choice. I do feel for the price that you should get two sides with a plate meal that is other then a sandwich. The atmosphere is quaint, but the sitting is limited so this is a place to arrive early for supper. It was a very enjoyable experience and definitely a good find for a secluded place to eat.

First off all you 4 star people are seriously in need of therapy. This is the best bbq atmosphere, and quality tasting bbq you can put in your face. I ate the trio. I can’t say enough good stuff about this. Five stars -I wish I could do ten.

This Small Town BBQ Restaurant located in Friendsville, TN has the most flavorful, tender, delicious BBQ around. We love to try different restaurants and we’re glad we ate at Small Town BBQ. The Staff is friendly, the food is delicious, the place is beautifully antique decorated. Needless to say, well be back.
