Actually my first time at a Smashburger – I was pleasantly surprised… the burgers were pretty tasty! Honestly, the high pricing at these burger joints always bothers me – especially when they don’t come with fries. Spending $40 on two burgers, a side of tots and a large drink is ludicrous! Again, the burgers were good and tasted fresh. Visually pleasing as well. Smash-tots were actually the star of the show… a garlic rosemary flavored, petite potato puff of crispy love – that’s what we’re dealing with here. Location is clean, dining inside or out. I’d recommend if you don’t mind a high price meal.

The service was fast, people were nice, and food was yummy! I ordered a salad (I know, I know), but it was great! Nice crunchy bacon and topped with a fried egg! My son (4 years) ate half of a kids cheeseburger and was full, my husband has a normal burger and enjoyed it. We decided to eat outside and the staff brought the food out for us and even cleared our table.

I went to Smashburger in Wantagh and ordered a classic double stack burger, single classic smash burger, smash fries, and smash tots. This was the worst location I have ever been to! Everything I received was beyond greasy which you can clearly see in the picture. My fries were glistening from the grease and everything I tried tasted like a mouthful of oil. I was beyond disappointed with the quality of service. My food wasn’t even hot. I received everything cold and I couldn’t eat the smash tots and smash fries so I asked for a refund. I forced myself to eat the burger but I refused to eat the sides. Luckily the manager refunded me for the fries and tots, but I still spent money on those disgusting burgers which totaled about $19. Save your money and avoid this location unless you want a heart attack from all the grease.

Fantastic burgers similar in taste to a Five Guys or Shake Shack with a bit more affordable pricing. Fully cooked and spilling with juices. The shake advertised was no where near what they were advertising and the bacon in the sandwich was extremely salty. Smash Fries had extra seasoning such as rosemary for added flavor.

I ordered the Colorado and received the a completely different burger. On my way out I decided to get a milkshake which was 3/4 full and costs $7. To add insult to injury the kid making it made one for himself at the same time which was more filled. Definitely wouldn’t recommend

The food was cold, the service is slow. I ordered, the brisket burger, it came cold and with excessive salt, the smash taters were soaked in oil and cold. The wings arrived after we finished eating our food and we were ready to leave. I would not recommend, Burger King was better.

We placed an online order but when it was delivered something was missing. It was close to closing so we had to go pick it up but the manager was very friendly and apologized for the mistake. The food was amazing. Top 3 Turkey burger of all time. Didn’t know they have chicken wings now. Gotta try them next time. I must say not all the locations have been the same experience but this one the food and service is on point 99.9% of the time.. My stomach did not complain…
