Smash burger in Louisville Kentucky at the Louisville International Airport. It’s a small shop that is located next to gate six and in front of gate nine. From the look of the place. It looks amazing. You have the signs that is big and bright and looks like so welcoming to the shop.

I was catching a flight to Orlando and was lucky enough to catch a great lunch at the SDF airport. Smash burger has good sandwiches, but the truffle TOTS are THE BEST! I wish I had a picture of the full order, but as you can see, they were nearly gone by the time I thought “I should get a pic for a review!” . That good. This location was fast and friendly. I still had plenty of time to catch my flight.

First things first: I won’t be eating at ANY Smashburger anywhere, anytime else. Ordered a single bacon burger, no tomato, add onion. Got one with with diced up tomatoes, no onions. Took it back and after waiting 7 min, got another burger with no tomatoes and no onions. Asked for onion and they were diced red onions. If the burger was any smaller I should have just ordered a bun with cheese and bacon. I’m trying to decide if I was more disappointed with service or price. I didn’t think I could be disappointed more from airport food, then I came to Smashburger.

I very much wanted to get some food before my flight, but at 10am I was told they were not serving lunch until 11 even though the sign started that breakfast ended at 9am. I returned at 11 with only a few minutes until my flight only to see a group of potential customers and nobody at the register. After waiting for 8 minutes for someone to start taking orders, I left.

There was four in our group. We walked up started to look at the menu and the employee that was working was so rude That we went next door to get pizza. So if this is the kind of people you hire. You will be out of business. We weren’t the only ones other people showed up shortly after and they left as well. So I hope you retrain or hire people that want a job.

Went to SmashBurger at the Louisville Airport to get breakfast before a 6am flight. Sign says open Mon-Friday at 05:00 am. Please change your sign to reflect your new hours that’s on your website. You now have Flight Crew and Attendants waiting for breakfast and I don’t have the heart to tell them you don’t open till 11:00. Poor excuse of a business

Breakfast served until 9:30am and then it’s lunch right? Not today. Staff seemed very off put at customers in line although all were reluctantly ordering off the Breakfast menu at 11am. Feel bad for the two guys working…they could use some support and the mood the front guy has is not one of the person you want greeting your customers. He looks visibly upset and slightly rude. Terrible service today there was a African American lady that was at the cash register well let me start here when I got in line I waited in line for 5 minutes before I even seen a worker walk in eye sight then this cashshe is really moving around with no purpose while the lady/chef is trying to do his best like if you don’t have anyone at the cash register help that man don’t just sit at the register and look around then 3 customers walked away because she wasn’t taking orders but hold on there was a white guy that was waiting on his food before I even ordered at this time. We’re here for about 15 minutes so the guy asked us can you all try to hurry up being here for 30 minutes calling my Nager and asking does he want to fight? I honestly feel like this is very inappropriate for a restaurant especially in this establishment, so at first I said the chef was doing everything they could but actually the chef was the one that got smart with the customer call Jim maker which I believe is inappropriate because the customer was white and the chef was black and me as a black person I feel like that was very embarrassing. The chef and the cashier really needs to be fired. That is like very unprofessional .
