We came here because the one in Anchorage was so amazing about being clean and careful about the gluten free options. Was in Wasilla for the day and needed a GF meal for my daughter who’s allergic. The lady who took our order was new maybe and she kindly asked the girl packing orders if the fries and tator tots are gf. The girl shrugged her shoulders rolled her eyes and just said “I don’t know. Probably”. I said it’s for a food allergy. It’s life or death. Can you ask and make sure? The kitchen was right there in front of her! She didn’t seem to care much at all. I wanted to leave. Especially since the dining room looked unsanitary due to lack of employees. I was kind to the cashier and I was absolutely not trying to be difficult at all. Celiacs disease is a very serious thing and it’s so hard to find good places. The gf buns were cold on the burger which made the burger cold. Our salad was filled with goopy slimy lettuce. My mom asked for a new salad and the manager said that the salad is supposed to be that way … smh. He replaced it w a fresh one. Sat down at a dirty table and ate our food and left. Had no other gf options so we dealt w it. So disappointed and I’ll definitely not be risking it again. The manager and cashier seemed nice enough and the food would have been amazing without the ick factors involved. Not even close to comparable to the Anchorage location. Pics are attached

Got the California BBQ burnt ends burger and it was disgusting. Drenched with BBQ sauce that tasted nasty and the burnt ends and the patty wasn’t even seasoned. Overpriced and not even good. Highly wouldn’t recommend. If you want a good burger, go to Carl’s Jr.

I don’t have anything to say about this place. This was my first visit to a Smashburger. I ordered the Alaska Kenai burger with smash fries. The fries were tasty and not over seasoned, while the burger was hot and delicious. There was fresh jalapeno on it as well as a generous helping of cooked to perfection onion stack. The egg bun is a nice touch. Service was quick and friendly and the place was very clean. I will be back!

I will say normally my food is fine. On this occasion I went a bit later on a Saturday night. The employees appear to be a bunch of teenagers. No adult anywhere. The employees were tp busy talking to pack my order. Two of my order items were missing completely once they did finally find the time to bag it up. An additional one of my order items was under cooked. It’s enough that I won’t be returning for quite some time.
