Ok. I’m torn with this Place. Like Hear me out…. The Crust and Dough is by far the Best I have ever had. Seriously. But the Sauce was the Plainest I ever had. ‍♂️ Toppings was Good but Sauce is Very important in Pizza. I wish I had Any other kind of Sauce and probably would have been Best Pizza Ever. ‍♂️ Like it was literally Smashed Tomatoes nothing else in it. ITS THE NAME I GUESS BUT FLAVOR IS IMPORTANT!

First time trying this place out . Was on my way to fazolis and wanted to try something different. Food was pretty good. I had pizza and lasagna and a glass of wine . I’ll definitely go back again . Food is a little expensive but with inflation what’s not these days?

This is our regular spot. My husband and I used to have day dates there and the lunch special was perfect price and plenty of food. They also do a dinner special. With 5 or 6 of us eating we LOVE a special!!

First time customer and will be back more often now. Just wanted a break from the normal burger greasy lunch bags, my daughter and I came in for some salads and oh my gosh! The service was welcoming and friendly and told us more about their menu, the atmosphere was warm and inviting . The food was amazing.. this was the salad I got, nearly every bite was followed by “oh my that’s wonderful ” my daughters Ceasar salad was huge and we shared each also to experience it all… our dine in experience was amazing so much so, that I smelled and saw another customers pizza come out of the wood fired pizza oven and said.. ohhhhhhhh I want to take one of those home.. and we did… and we devoured it later that night.

There were 4 of us stopping in for a light dinner. The gentleman who took our order converted it to a Family meal and that saved us a bunch on the bill. The pizzas we got were good and the service was excellent too. There were all manner of people there from families, elderly couples and some folks with special needs that all appeared to enjoy their meals. There is also a frequent diner program you may want to sign up for should you like the place and plan to come back.

Rarely does a place match what I want and exceed my expectations but Smashing Tomato did just that! This place specializes in woodfired pizza and I assure you that it won’t disappoint. The crust was a delicious thin crust similar to what I enjoyed during my many visits to Europe. The sauce was really flavorful and I enjoyed every bite of my pizza. I can’t wait to come back.

The food was fine. No real service to speak of, other than someone walking our food out. It was pretty empty and the food came quickly enough. My big complaint would be the prices and soda machine. 30+ dollars for soda, a small pizza, a salad, and a soup. Call it the economy but it’s just not a good value anymore. Plus the POS system always asking for a tip at a place like this really puts me off.

Always love eating at Smashing Tomatoes. The pizza is always so good. The salad is unique, fresh and way to large to eat alone. I’m a fan of the Margherita pizza but every pizza I have had is great

I’ve always liked their pizza but had stopped going for no reason other than my son always says no to it. This time it was convenient so we went. I was suprised and excited to find they make their own gluten free crust! It was really good and also warmed up nicely the next day which most gluten free versions do not. I’ll definitely get again. I didn’t give them 5 stars because the tables were dirty as most places that don’t offer table service and the bread that came with my son’s pasta was burned. He didn’t like his pasta but I don’t rate them down for that. He is a picky eater. I would recommend going for regular or gluten free pizza crust.

I can’t get over how good this food is. It’s sit-down restaurant quality but at a casual price and speed of service. We took a chance on a couple of the seasonal specials, including the Fig & Pig pizza special. Shockingly good. I’m really excited about a place like this taking chances like that and trying to expand beyond the simple kinds of pizza you expect. (Also the lunch special is an amazing deal!!).
