This place is a legit Korean restaurant. The space was vast with lots of tables & seats. We were seated immediately despite that the restaurant was pretty busy. We got our food around 15 mins after ordering.

Their gan jjajang is fire! One of the only places I’ve been able to find that style of jjajangmyeon. They bring out a nice little assortment of panchan and it’s all good also.

I recently tried here again. They improved a lot. Especially jajangmyeon is so good. The amount of ingredients which means meats and veggies are good enough. Jajang myeon is not watery anymore but also not too thick. Spicy chicken is still so good . I tried fried rice for the first time. I can feel well cooked rice on the wok. This is the best jajang myeon place in sacramento so far.

UPDATE 2: 6/28/23 Got jajangmyeon and jampong and both were solid. Jampong slightly underseasoned, but I thought it was pretty tasty. Seafood didn’t taste rancid, so no complaints. My girlfriend thought the jajangmyeon at the KP food court was nasty, and was worried jajangmyeon just isn’t made well these days, but she thought this one was pretty decent. 9.99 deal jajangmyeon (normally 12.95) and 15.95 jampong. We prefer their stir fried jampong.

The jajangmyeon and tang Soo yook are the best around the Sacramento area. It’s a former market turned restaurant, so the atmosphere isn’t a fanciful environment. Go here for really good food!

Food was little pricey. Chicken we ordered was over price for that amount 23$. Other foods was ok.

The service was competent and the food was tasty, if a bit on the greasy side. I ordered Mongolian beef. Generally I think of this as a Chinese dish but, in this case, I’d say it is a dish inspired by its Chinese namesake and delivered with a strong Korean interpretation. We also ordered jajangmien and jambong (my phonetic spellings so may not match the menu). Everything was fine. The noodles in the jambong were noted as particularly good. Also, while a little pricier than some of their competitors, they were very generous with the portions, particularly with the meat and seafood (all of which were of good quality).

The bulgogi fried rice is delicious, so savory! And the spicy chicken is also good.

Good food, good prices. Their jajangmyeon is the best! Just don’t get turned off by the set-up, it used to be a grocery store that they turned into a restaurant. But you go to a place like this for the food, not the decor.
