I’m pleased that we decided to stop at Smiley’s today! It is Saturday evening and raining so the small space is bustling with hungry patrons! Even with the busy environment the staff were pleasant and attentive. We ordered a 2 course meal with Tom kha soup as an appetizer and sushi as our main meal. The soup is delicious! The portion was 8oz came with a healthy portion of chicken! Sushi was a-la-cart, we ordered 7 rolls, 3 special ones, and 4 regular rolls. All the rolls were beautiful and tasted fresh. We also ordered Uni(sea urchin) which was beautiful and delicious. (If you like deep sea taste) they even put gold flakes on it!

I have never had a bad meal here. The food is always excellent. The Pad Thai is one of the best I’ve ever had, I also highly recommend any of their curries. Just go there. You won’t be disappointed. Their outdoor Space is also nice when weather is permittable.

We always come here! The service is ALWAYS 5 stars. The pad Thai is so well cooked and enough green onions for every bits! Portions are large— quality is great! We usually get the bento box it gives you sushi 6 California roll, white rice, three pork gyoza shrimp and veggie tempura and chicken teriyaki! It’s so so good! And comes with soup and salad!

Best restaurant in Mount Juliet area! The food is always great. Sometimes more spicy than I like, so be sure to choose your spice level. The menu is pretty extensive and I love the variety. Great atmosphere. The food is ready pretty quick. The staff is very friendly and sometimes they even have live music to top it off.

The sushi took absurdly one hour to be served then the fried cheese cake for desert was horrible. Never had such a terrible desert before. The place is cramped, without atmosphere, very casual.

I’m sure you can find hundreds to thousands of positive reviews about Smiley Thai and Sushi. Everything is fresh, made to order and delicious. Even when we order take out (literally every Saturday for movie night) they take care in the food preparation and verification of the items. They’ll continue to be a staple in our routine!
