Can’t say enough good things about Smith and River. The staff was very warm and friendly and the food was incredible. Our favorites were the pasta, the artichokes and the pizza. Also, if you have the opportunity to sit on the patio, do it! Its so pretty with the river.

Upscale establishment with unique cuisine on the menu. Ordering requires stepping out of your comfort zone and trying a modern take on popular dishes. Medium rare flat iron steak was good, but more on the rare side. Complimented well with the truffle and arugula shoestring fries (though difficult to eat politely). Waiter was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal, filling drinks and bussing dishes seamlessly.

My Husband and I made reservations tonight for our 1 year wedding anniversary… we were taken very well care of by our server Thomas who was very nice and personable and also his manager Ryan.. both of them plus the rest of the staff really made an impression on us… and of course the FOOD and Drinks were what you expect them to be. Amazing job.. will be back again soon. Thank you again soo much! Would highly recommend to anyone!!

This restaurant was very busy on a Sunday late evening. Our reservation was honored with a 10 min. Wait. We were sitted in a booth and presented menus. Since there were 3 of us, each had something different. Salmon, caprese salad, house white bean soup, and Caesar were all excellent. The marybeth pizza was goof but not remarkable. The smoky bourbon drink and smokey drinks were well made and delicious. The floor mgr. Checked with us twice to inquire about our experience, which we appreciated but was not necessary. Our waiter was Matthew, one of the best waitstaff I have had in a few years anywhere!! Not only was he efficient, knowledgeable and helpgul about the menu, he was more than accommodating and interesting! I recommend this establishment and will return.

Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten 🙂 If you’re going and wondering if you should get an appetizer, go for the old faithful. Make sure to experiment with food combinations on that one! The apple with cheese and some of the meat tastes amazing.

Very disappointed with this place, there are very few things that are good here. The cocktails and the appetizers are well worth the try, but the entrees are not worth the price. The serving sizes are about half a meal, none of our party left the restaurant feeling full. We each got something different from the menu, and we found that the flat iron steak, the pork, and the burger all used the same sauce. It tasted ketchup-y almost like it was just A1 sauce.
