We stopped in for a bite after a show and we loved it here. Our waitress was fantastic. We had the brussel sprout salad and pizza. We all loved it. I had an interesting drink with beet juice. It was great. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other great offerings.

This place was a gem. The atmosphere was great. It was a small menu but just right for conversation and chatting. It was a spacious restaurant with delightful staff. I had the friend green tomato salad (I was so excited about it that I forgot to take a picture) that was delicious. It was a unique salad that had seed, large croutons with hints of mint with the friend green tomato’s on the side. I also had the shrimp and grits. I don’t love grits but I thought I would give it a shot. I was impressed and I’m glad I did. The texture and flavor!!!! I enjoyed my dinner and would recommend.

What a great experience! I’ll start with the parking on this street is a first come first serve! Took me about 20 mins but it was a Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. First I’ll start with out drinks. I ordered the partly stormy which was surprisingly sweet after reading the description. My friend got the Penicilina and loved it. As an appetizer we ordered the southern shrimp. Didn’t look as it was expected but was still pretty good. I got the Achiote Marinated Steak with braised collard greens and mashed potatoes. And my friend got the Detroit Fried Chicken with braised collard greens and smoked cheddar grits. The braised collard greens were DELICIOUS. We were both so shocked. The steak was good and my friend really enjoyed the fried chicken. Overall this was a great experience especially with this being the second weekend since reopening. I would definitely come back again!

Finally made it to Smith & Co. in Cass Corridor. Food was ok. My friend enjoyed their Brussels Sprout salad. The cauliflower dish I had was ok. The Smash Burger I had was disappointing. Service was slow. A couple at a table next to us got up and left after waiting 15 minutes + to be greeted by their server. Not sure if I will be back.

The food at Smith & Co is a fantastic, creative mix. Add in beer from Nain Rouge brewery (across the courtyard) and you have a grand slam.

Had the pleasure of dining here last night for the first time! First off, the space is beautiful and much larger than I was expecting. The service was spot on. Their beer, wine, and cocktail menus are all well thought out. We started with the Fry Bread app. Our server described it as sort of like an elephant ear without the sugar and he was right. It’s served with the most delicious cheese sauce I have ever tried and local Corridor Sausage hot links. Yum!! I also had the roasted carrots which were good, but a little too over sauced for me and the smoked chicken wings which were amazing! The sauce for the wings is sort of a sweet and sour made with Red Pop. It was awesome!!! I would recommend this place for sure, especially for large groups. Given its size I’m sure they could accommodate large parties.

We went for the happy hour special, $5 smash burger and $5 draft pints. Their restaurant is very nice, and the regular menu looks amazing. If the rest of the food is cooked as well as our burgers, customers are in for a great meal. Bar service was a bit slow and unorganized, the lone bartender could have used some help.

I had the Fried Chicken Bowl and it was tremendous. The Fried Chicken held its own but the sides (the Mashed Potatoes and Collard Greens) were what stood out. Both were incredible. The staff was courteous and helpful as well. I’ll be back!!

Not really impressed, but some parts were better than ok. Has a great vibe and the decor is very modern. We had a larger party so we ended waiting until after our reservation time, then some of the staff were not really on the ball, we ended up waiting for 30 minutes at a time for drinks, the when the food came out some stuff was barely warm which is a shame, because some of the apps we tried were very good. Mushroom toast and Roasted Carrots were both standouts.
