Food was good, service was great. The BBQ sauce (Darrell’s Sweet) was just not my thing. That’s not to say it was bad, it was just okay. The meat itself, however, was very tender and juicy. I may return again one day and try a different sauce. I really enjoyed the decor of the restaurant as well.

Stopped in for dinner when we were passing through Monday. I had the chopped beef plate with the Darrell’s Sweet BBQ sauce, fried okra, slaw, and a roll. My wife had the stuffed baked potato with the”Old Shack” BBQ sauce. It was really delicious after a long day on the road, and the sauces paired will with their rich smoky flavor. The service was quick and courteous, and the restaurant had a nice classic small town vibe. I definitely wouldn’t mind stopping in again the next time we pass through.

Both the service and the food were great! Clean atmosphere. You could smell BBQ aroma in the air when you walked in. Try the ‘Last Rites’ hot bbq sauce if you dare.The Strawberry shake was also so delicious. We would stop by Smitty’s just to get a Strawberry shake. And say Hi to Phillip if he’s working that day. Great guy. Definitely will eat there again when in Conway.

Will never eat here again!!!!! After seating our party of 5, the hostess stated that someone would get our drinks. About 15 minutes later she returned and we gave her our complete order. After about 15 to 20 min she returned stating they ran out of tea and had to make it. We ordered sweet tea but was given unsweetened. After being there almost 1 hour she came out to say our food was almost ready and she would bring out what was ready, after another 10 min she came back to say they were out of green beans. When our food was finally delivered it was cold and the worst meal I’ve had. 2 hours before closing and not busy so there is no excuse —- just bad food and bad service.

Been here twice in last month. First time was pretty good but this time, must have been one of the softest BBQ pork sandwiches I’ve ever had. The “Old Shack” sauce is fantastic. Their sides are a little sweet, no mustards that I seen in coleslaw or potato salad. If they could maybe add a mustard BBQ sauce to fill that gap in the menu, that be awesome!

I ordered the turkey plate. $12.99. It had dried out in the steam well and crumbled to pieces. There was only two ounces of BBQ sauce on the whole table for 6 people. The cornbread was dry and served without butter. The gravy on the mashed potatoes tasted like it had been made from a powder and been in the walk in for a week. It was truly an unforgettable meal.

The restaurant was very clean and maintained but our server came around one time the entire time we were there after we placed our order. My hamburgersteak was undercooked in the middle and through out so I did not get to enjoy my food. 🙁 The baked beans were delicious though! I wish our server would of been better about coming around to see if we had any problems because now I’m going home hungry. He didn’t even ask us if anything was okay or not so I didn’t have a chance to tell him! I’m kind of disappointed because we only go out everyonce in a while and I did not enjoy the food or my service here!

Came in from Georgia looking for bbq. BBQ pork had a good flavor and could have been a little warmer, asked for sauce on the side and the 2 we chose were very good. Fries were great and a lot of them! Baked beans had good seasoning to them. Friendly and nice.
