Arrived at around 1pm and it was busy. The line moved fast as the cashier was taking orders quickly. She took my name after I ordered a sliced brisket plate with beans and smoked Mac & cheese. Order came out in no time. This plate with the amount of food could easily feed 2 people. The sliced brisket was thick and juicy. Comes with 2 bread slices, pickled spice onions, sweet pickles, and delicious BBQ sauce. Everything was super delicious. This place knows how make darn good BBQ!

This is the first time I’ve ever been here, and it was absolutely fantastic. I travel all over the country for work, and this is definitely in my top 10. I will most definitely be getting food from here again the next time I am in the Fort Worth area. (Please excuse the photo quality, as I’m at a small table in my hotel.)

Food was phenomenal. The pork belly burnt ends were absolutely perfect. Brisket was top tier, and the baked beans were unique and delicious, I was so impressed. Most bbq places are the same, I have felt this was unique, local, prices were awesome and it was totally worth the drive. I have literally only found 2 bbq spots worth it in the state of Texas, this is one of them. Highly highly highly recommend.

Food was immaculate! Everything was flavorful and fresh. I don’t even need to try anymore barbecue places! Not pictured: smoked mac and cheese, loaded cornbread, and 1/2 lb of smoked turkey. All 3 of those were perfect, too! Staff was smiling, friendly, and welcoming. Would recommend this place to everyone.

My 374th ‘cue stop nationwide, and 89th in the Lone Star state, was found worthy of a home in the 2021 edition of Texas Monthly Magazine’s The 50 Best BBQ Joints. It’s easy to see why. $27.07 bought a 3 meat (brisket, turkey, pork belly burnt ends), 2 side (collard greens, smoked mac ‘n cheese) plate with a bottled soft drink. So, the price point was reasonable. The brisket was smoked perfectly, with nice bark, buttery fat, and a respectable pink ring. The understated rub allowed the meat’s flavor to shine. The turkey is solid, but here the real star of the show is the pork belly burnt ends. This is truly what BBQ aficionados call meat candy! Both sides were solid, the greens not drowning in vinegar, the mac ‘n cheese creamy and full of flavor. So, highly recommended, but go early because parking is limited.

Our food here was absolutely delicious! We got chopped brisket, pepper sausage, loaded cornbread, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Y’all…the brisket and potato salad was outstanding definitely the winners for today’s meal. But don’t get me wrong, everything else was amazing too! Moreover, their prices are very reasonable. I’ve definitely had more expensive barbecue before. Lastly, I always judge a place on barbecue sauce and theirs gets a 5/5. Tangy, spicy, and sweet!

The brisket nachos hands down, I literally go once every two to three weeks or so. We have had the lodes potato, the loaded cornbread, the rib tips and the rib dinner. Everyone said it was so good. They even have catering available but hands down don’t sleep on this place it is so worth the try

I was excited to try their “thicken” however was informed upon arriving that they would not be serving any until Wednesday. Honestly everything I wanted to try was not available on the Tuesday that I went. The food was decent but slightly over priced. I understand the price of a lot of things has gone up but I have never paid $20 for a plate of bbq and doubt I ever will again. I barely pay that much for seafood which should be that expensive. I’d definitely recommend trying them out for yourself but call first to make sure they are serving what you’d like to try.
