Great little spot in Kendall. Highly recommend for a little smoked meat and empanada action. The crew on staff are all super polite and welcoming. Prices might seem high, but all items on menu and in the bakery are craft items and worth the experience.

Had an amazing brunch dish, with a sample of their brisket, cheddar sausage, excellent corn bread l, eggs and bacon. Staff are very attentive, one of the owners mentioned they have special burgers on Friday’s and their Mofongo on Saturdays. Coming back to try the other items on their menu!

Harry (of Empanada Harry’s next door) and Michelle own the restaurant and have procured every detail, from the decor to the menu. The atmosphere is slightly chic rustic, and the food is delicious. We ordered the smoked croquettes (smoke ham and gouda cheese), a bottle of Wilson Creek Almond Sparkling Champagne (a recommendation from Michelle) and we shared a brisket trifongo (mofongo made with green plantains, yuca, and ripe plantains). The croquettes were perfect and served with wedges of lime to add a tartiness to the initial bite. The sparking champagne creeps up on you but has a smooth sweetness that is just plain chill vibe pleasant. The star of the show was the brisket trifongo . The meat was super tender, and the texture of the mofongo was creamy. Most mofongo is served with a side of broth, but at Smoke N Dough, they take the work out of the prep, and you just enjoy the meal. This was a splendid treat! A definite must if you are in the Miami area! Kudos to Harry and Michelle for a job well done in a restaurant that has become a staple in the West Miami/Kendall/ West Miami Dade community! Michelle and Harry do their homework, travel, and study cuisine from all around the world. Do your due diligence and visit Smoke N Dough!

The only thing better than the service was the food. The Julian and his staff were amazing, kind and helpful. Julian knew his menu like the back of his hand. The recommendations were spotless and the food was incredible. Brisket was one of a kind; coming from Nashville I can confidently say this brisket is A1. The pulled pork was incredibly well made, moist and firm. Sausage was unique as well, really hit their goal of brisket forward. The beans and coleslaw weren’t very southern but still good quality and exactly as they described. Over all we really loved it here and look forward to making it a staple.

Checked out this place bc it’s non our neighborhood. It gets moving on Saturday night so call ahead and make reservations. We waited about 15 minutes and we’ll worth the wait! We order the brisket, coleslaw, loaded nachos, and brisket sandwich. Brisket portions seemed small for the price but nevertheless, delicious. For dessert we order the smoked flan {WHOA!!!} very good if you like the smoked flavor. The flan was not too sweet and very creamy. Also order the 4 leches… yes, it’s worth ordering. This one is sweet and delicious! We will be coming back bc there are a few things we still want to to try. Atmosphere was nice, the playlist was all 80’s and totally our vibe. I didn’t give a 5 star bc it was a little warm. Our server, Julian, was a charmer and attentive to us. Helpful with helping selecting a beer.

1 of a kind Barbecue and unlike any other in the World. Meats are perfect, delicate, & savory. The sides are bold. Baked Beans unlike any I have had from Texas to Tenn, Carolinas to Mississippi. Pulled Pork Tostones are a must. And the Smoked Caramel Flan is 1 of a kind. Many other surprises like the Gouda and Ham Croquetas are pleasing especially when competing against the world’s most perfect Croquetas located in the area at another restaurant known for its Cuban/Korean fusion.
