The staff was very friendly! I was seated with drink in hand quickly. I ordered the big ribeye medium rare, expecting a thick ribeye. It was very thin and came out well done. The steak was flavorful, but not what I expected on the rare occasion I order a steak. I did not complain or send it back, and in all fairness, I didn’t mention it to the staff. This would have been great in a dish with steak in it, but for God’s sake, that’s not how you cook a steak and charge $35! Cut a steak over 3/4 inch if you are going to serve a steak on the menu! My steak was under 1/2 inch, and that thin cooks fast, but it is extremely difficult to get right. Well-done, is pretty much your only option. The salad bar was well maintained. The staff was very friendly, although English is not their first language. That being said, the service was great, I never ran out of my beverage and was checked on as expected. I was not asked about how I liked the meal. There are a lot of other options on the menu besides steak. Based on what I saw and overheard, the food was very good. I wouldn’t order steak again, but I will return to order something else. Overall, the experience was good, but please change the way you serve a steak. This is Texas, after all!

Food was good. Service was great.. but on the menu it says happy hour 4-6. But my bill didn’t give me that price for 6 beers. Waitress said they changed the hours. But I drank according to the menu. As a trucker I was happy to find this here. But now won’t be back and will report it on several truck driver apps for others not to stop. And no discount for veterans…

The Smoke House Restaurant served breakfast until 11am and then after that, you have the option to order off the menu or get the buffet. Each day of the week, the buffet offers different food. You will not leave here hungry!

Great place, and fun atmosphere in the bar and grill. Casey was the bartender, and recommended the prime rib. AWESOME!!! absolutely fantastic Prime Rib! Had a couple beers with my dinner and some laughs with Casey and a few folks at the bar and the waitress. Was a good time, and I’ll DEFINITELY stop back in the next time I get through here
