This place truly deserves more than 5 stars. From the food to the service everything was unmatched for barbecue in the New England area. I hope to become a frequent flyer despite the long ride for me from as it is so worth it. I will be telling all my friends and family about this place and highly recommend Smokehaus in Amherst to get your BBQ fix.

Absolutely delicious! I do wish I was told the pulled chicken and pulled pork didn’t come with sauce though. I would have added some. I ended up just using sauce from my house. But everything was really good.

First timer. this place is phenomenal, the meat is moist flavorful it has the perfect amount of smoke flavor. the sauce options are really well laid out and labeled, my personal favorite was the tangy sauce I had the three meat plate with pulled chicken, brisket and pulled pork the portions were larger than expected. i chose the beans and hush puppies for my sides both were very good. there is a large amount of pulled pork in the beans that added a nice flavor to them. when leaving I had to buy a half rack of ribs as that was the only thing I did not have. This is definitely a need to stop bbq joint. 10/10

Great Smokehaus is well worth the drive. We purchased several different meats so I could share my experience with everyone. The pulled pork was moist and had a very subtle taste of smokiness, no fat. The baby backs were very well seasoned and smoked perfectly. The brisket was my families favorite lean, tender, and just the right amount of smokiness. The collard greens where perfection, cole slaw, and their barbecue beans were a great hit with my family. They have several options of drinks for everyone, including beers on tap. Overall, a great experience a must do, worth the drive to Amherst NH

If you enjoy great BBQ, don’t let this unassuming gem go by in your rear view mirror. Driven by several times on work trips and finally decided to stop in at lunch time. My only regret being I hadn’t done so before. With a line practically out the door, one person at the register is flying through the orders with efficiency, while another is packing and calling orders just as smoothly.

After Smokehaus was recommended by a friend we decided to make the trip up from Connecticut to check it out. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket reminded me of the BBQ I had growing up in the deep south…not easy to match! All the sides from baked beans, Mac and cheese, to coleslaw and fries were nothing short of perfection. I would make this drive every weekend just for the food, but the service was also 5 Star! Everyone behind the counter is incredibly hardworking and friendly. If you are in New England looking for some good BBQ then don’t pass this place up.

My boys and I went here for lunch after a local soccer tournament. We got the pulled pork sandwiches and a chicken tender kids meal. Everything was good but none of us were fans of their sauce (we had one sweet and one tangy. The pork wasn’t dry, I wish there was more butter on the toasted buns, It would have added a buttery crunch to the bite.

Nice local barbeque eatery. Good food. Casual atmosphere. Tip: the later in the day you go the larger chance they’ll be out of many menu items. The nature of BBQ dictates you can’t just cook more! I suggest lunch or early dinner.
