The rustic dining decor is right up my alley, and the food is terrific. All the sides are amazing, prepared with as much care and attention as the main course, which was also cooked perfectly. It’s great to have this restaurant in town now, I loved my visits to the Amherst location.

Fantastic BBQ spot that does a little bit of everything. Their meat selection is great, offering pulled pork, brisket, chicken, ribs and wings. I HIGHLY recommend the pulled pork. It’s truly the best I’ve had outside of South Carolina.

When I tasted the brisket sandwich, I began counting how many tables they have in this new restaurant. There were only 18 tables, and that caused me to worry. We began to look at places where more tables could be placed outside…

Saying this as a recently transplanted Bostonian who has until recently only lived in huge cities (NYC, Chicago, DC): This place is easily the best casual dining experience for 40 miles in any direction. It has the best craft beer list for 40 miles in any direction. It is the most sanitary and modern sit-down casual restaurant for 40 miles in any direction.

Amazing BBQ! We got the 3 meat plate and had brisket, ribs and pulled pork with sides of mac n cheese, cornbread, collard greens, a piece of sourdough bread and hush puppies. I love how you can just walk in, place your order, then grab a seat, or sit at the bar. We’ll definitely be back! Sorry you can’t really see the menu for the craft beers!

The meats were good… especially the brisket. Did not try the ribs tho. All the sauces are outstanding. Mac n cheese just elbow macaroni with canned cheese sauce on top. Collard greens one day way to spicy couldn’t eat and 2 days later under seasoned. Long line..only 1 register open. Can’t order at the bar and no seating available both times. Overall good food, horrible systems in place for efficiency, lack of seating. Still have things to work on. Neither owner were there considering it was opening week. Fair prices for BBQ but long wait in line and even longer to get your food.

Not really a bar-b-q fan, but man – this was good. Best cornbread I’ve ever had. If you like bar-b-q this is the place !

We came back for the brisket, which was sold out the first time. Had that and a PP sandwich, with sides of baked beans, creamed corn, and cornbread. The BB’s were scrumptious, the CC was too soupy and glutinous, and the cornbread was way to sweet. The pulled pork and brisket were tasty, but served cold. I’m not a big fan of cold BBQ meat, no matter how well smoked. One 1-meat plate, 1 sandwich, 2 beers $45 before the tip. Nice place, good parking, worth the trip.

Very small portions, tastes boiled, I found the sauces to be bland and pretty much flavorless. Brisket was 50% fat, tasted exactly like the pulled pork and very very salted. Sides were good, but I don’t generally pay $18 for coleslaw and baked beans, that was outstanding and the highlight of the meal. I may try again after they break in a bit, but very dissatisfied $57 for 2 people both leaving hungry definitely not worth it.
