We read good reviews so decided to try it. Apparently they are closing soon so I’m guessing that’s why the food was so bad. Chicken was so dry, portion was half a breast at most. Meatloaf and Mac and cheese were terrible. Ribs had no flavor. Portions were very small, everything tasted like smoke not BBQ, like the smoke when you put the food in too soon before it’s ready…. Service staff were nice but very uninformed about entrees and drinks. Our bill was $130 for three adults and two kid meals. I don’t leave reviews unless service and food are good and I always want to give the benefit of the doubt if it’s not good. However, don’t waste your money. Sorry, I hope the staff and owners move on to better things

We stopped in after a long day of skiing and tubing!! It was the perfect spot!! The food was hot, delicious and a perfect atmosphere. The onion rings were out of this world!! The owner stopped by to see how everything was and our convo led to the meatloaf. My husband was craving meatloaf but decided on the brisket sandwich ( which was phenomenal and tender), the owner immediately went to the kitchen to grab him a sliver of the meatloaf. It was to die for!! We left there full and satisfied. Cozy joint, great food, wonderful staff!

We really loved this restaurant! We’re in town celebrating our son’s birthday and went to the Smokehouse for his birthday dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly, food is delicious (prime rib was incredible!) and prices were very fair. After dinner they even brought our little guy ice cream and everyone wished him Happy Birthday as we left. Definitely recommend this place!

We heard really great things about this place, and decided to give it a try. We had a long day, so we ordered our food to go to eat back at our hotel. For 2 people, we ended up paying over $50. This isn’t too surprising, but the food was not very good. There was not much flavor that you come to expect from a typical BBQ joint, and the food was cold when we got it. If you’re visiting Red River and think about visiting this place, just know it may not be great and you will spend a good amount.

Big Burgers fresh beef, topped with a gourmet bun! Fresh cut fries cooked right. When the fries came out my first thought was they kinda scrimped on those and they must have read my mind cause a basket full of fresh fries were delivered to the table to share around (more than enough). The Onion Rings were homemade with some of the best batter I’ve had! My son had the wings he said they were great. Someone else had the fresh made potato skins….. they were very good. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Great overall experience!
