Having lived in Texas many years, I was a bit disappointed with the brisket plate. It was dry and cut too thick. It was as thick as a steak. Loved my salad with French dressing and my fries. Not many places carry this dressing anymore so great surprise there. Nice atmosphere and busy waitress was very personable.

Smokehouse Bar and Grill is a great place to grab a few drinks and some unbelievable BBQ food. They have a good sized room, and a decent sized bar. The staff are very friendly, and come around to check on you often. It’s a fun place to grab a meal and hang out for a few drinks!

Man, for being in the middle of nowhere compared to Knoxville, this place rocked. Great beer selection and just great food! The burnt ends app was delicious. The burgers were massive! Highly recommend to anyone visiting! Oh yeah, Baked Beans were phenomenal!

This place has gone downhill since changing owners. We have been 2 times since new ownership. The first time was over an hour and the orders were wrong. The second time was 15 minutes and no service so we left. Hopefully it gets better

We just found this amazing place, just taking a ride . The atmosphere is so welcoming, everyone was so nice and friendly. The food was so delicious and fresh. We just had appetizers, buffalo shrimp and the sampler platter . The shrimp was so fresh, the chicken was so good, everything was. Did I mention the $2 Stella’s on tap ! Wish we lived closer!!

When we arrived the parking was full which called ” that must be good”. That was a good sign, and feeling was not wrong. As soon as we walked in, I noticed all eyes on us. Yea, we are outsiders with other country accents. But Ok we were asked to sit wherever we wanted. I know that was busy time but we waited quite a time to make us start joking that everyone started betting how long we will last. I thought another waiter heard us speaking foreign language and understood our joke because she came and took our orders. Since then, we have been treated very well. Even when my child spilled her drink to her plate, the new one came right away. Oh, the food was good, customer service was awesome, and our little joke stayed with us. Good job there.

I made the decision to make the trek to Kingston to eat here, and I’m so glad I did. This was a great discovery. Hard to find anything here that a person would not like. The smokehouse burger immediately got my attention, but the menu is loaded with plenty of options to tempt your taste buds. Beer battered fries seemed like a natural choice to go with the burger, but you can pick from a dozen different sides. They have 20 beers on tap and a very impressive selection of bourbon, which includes Booker’s, Blanton’s, Eagle Rare, and five different WhistlePig. If you need a place to watch your favorite sports teams, they have plenty of TVs to keep you from missing a second of the action. Overall, a great place to go, any time and any day.

New ownership. Food still high quality. Small increase in prices. Be aware if you order carry out there is a 10% fee on your bill and that is taxed along with the food. That is the reason for 3 stars.
