Great spot in town for BBQ! Brisket was melt in your mouth fatty goodness and the sausage was nice and juicy. Hearty portions. Nice staff. Not bad for middle of nowhere, Texas!

Great Portions. They can COOK. I came in hungry and I got the three meet: brisket, ribs, and sausage, and it came with two sides, sauces, and bread. Leaving very satisfied. Great people, brisket melted away and had great flavor.

Decent little BBQ spot, family run, seems like you’re over at somebody’s house for a cookout. Brisket and pulled pork were both very good. Be advised they only take cash or check.

Good BBQ, but too pricey! Small portions with respect to the price. Also, no restroom for customers to clean hands. If the prices were more reasonable and/or portions make up for higher charge, then it would be a higher rating. Also, you almost have to have a place for customers to wash hands. Regardless, the food is good and fresh.

Stop at this place, the food is worth it. They’re cash only and have no atmosphere or bathrooms so get your food to-go. The establishment neighbors a gas station so fill-up, use the facilities, and have your co-pilot get some pulled pork sandwiches with their savory BBQ sauce!

Horrible customer service. They do not take credit cards. They told me there was was an ATM next door store in the gas station. I told them I would be right back. The ATM was out of service so I had to drive around town to find another ATM. Returned in about 10 minutes to find the staff closing up a half hour before the restaurant was scheduled to close. Said he couldn’t cut anything because he already put away the cutting boards, but offered to sell a pound of uncut brisket to take back to my hotel room and “pick at.” I could not believe it. This guy was refusing to cut up the brisket and make me a sandwich because he was too lazy to unpack the cutting boards he had already put away! Horrible customer service. There are plenty of good barbecue places in town and near by in Marfa and Marathon that will be happy to make me a sandwich and they take credit cards. NEVER AGAIN!

What a gem along route 90! Superb BBQ, fast service, friendly staff.!!! Those complaining they couldn’t find it should learn using their phone and if you complain about cash only, go back to your big city. If we come again through Alpine, we surely stop here again!
