We ordered the 1/3 ribs with brisket chili and pineapple coleslaw, and a side of fries. The fries were either cooked in old oil or overcooked, coleslaw had no dressing. But the chili was spot on for what we like, the ribs were melt in your mouth awesome. The cornbread with honey-butter was perfect. If the fries were cooked better and the coleslaw had more dressing I would have given them 6 ⭐ out of 5. We really enjoyed the rest of the meal.

Great customer service! I haven’t found a carne asada fries spot, so I decided to give the cowboy fries a try. The portion size was huge, and underpriced in my opinion. I was stationed for four years in Central Texas, where they are all about their bbq. This place definitely made me feel like i was back there which I miss.

As a doordasher I do not recommend this place. I had the worst experience with the lady who worked there tonight. There was a looooong line and the back door was open so i went to the door and saw the lady working was freaking out and i asked if she was alone because she looked super stressed and if doordash orders were sitting waiting. She starting screaming about not having a tablet and she doesnt have doordash orders and yelling at me to get back in line. I said why would i get back in line if your not making doordash orders? She again kept on screaming about non sense doordash orders and no tablet. Instead she could have said if you wait in line i can make it off the order you have in your hand but nooooo just yelling at me to get out of there and said i was yelling at her…most bizzare scenario. Normally the girls there are very nice! As a customer maybe the cowboy fries if your lucky to show up when they are not out of everything. Always out of stuff.

The lady that was in today doesn’t handle food properly, she doesn’t change her gloves after handling money before making food. She also can’t take more than one order at a time, even though it’s more efficient. The food smells good though.

CB fries were delicious. The brisket was juicy, tender, and smoked to perfection. Decent portion and fairly reasonable price. Overall great bbq food especially if you are on the go.

Amazing BBQ, great portion sizes. Had th cowboy fries, which is pulled pork, cheese, and BBQ sauce over fries. It’s an amazing dish with tons of flavor. This is easily one of the best BBQ places left in Anchorage. Highly recommend this place.

Been here at least 5 or 6 times but this time they totally messed up the cowboy fries. Every time the barbecue sauce comes seperate and I’ve never asked but this time they put it all over the fries and meat and it was no where near as good. It made the fries super soggy super fast. Tried to find a number for the diamond one to request a refund to no avail. Boniface gave me the wrong number.

My husband tried this place twice. The pork is really good but the brisket is very tough and not flavorful. Maybe just a couple of off days but since he’s a truck driver he won’t be back. Don’t have the time or money to try to eat somewhere that half of the food isn’t good and it’s expensive. People are very friendly though.

Delicious! We had the cowboy fries, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, pineapple coleslaw, beef hotdog, reindeer hotdog, potato salad and chili. They were all great and will be back again. The 2 young girls did great with our big order and came out fast.
