I can’t believe I drove past this place for so many years without trying it. It is absolutely outstanding. The pit beef sandwich was better than any that Baltimore is famous for. Prices were reasonable, service was quick in the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend!!

The pit roast beef is our favorite. The onion rings are perfect. Husband loves the meat loaf. It taste like my meatloaf. Husband had a burger also. The staff is so friendly. Chicken tenders fresh made. We love this place.

Food was mediocre. Beans are literally Bush’s from a can (plus sauce – I saw them making it). Potato salad was boring and overly mayonnaised. Pulled pork was fine, not good, and was over-sauced. Burnt ends didn’t seem to be actual ends or actually burnt, and were served swimming in sauce. Hush puppies were great. Service was great.

Amazing… generous portions and sooooo good. I eat the same thing every time. Pulled chicken sandwich. BBQ sauce. Cole slaw. Baked beans. Mac and cheese. We take more than half of it home. It’s only open in warm season and worth the drive out to Mechanicsville.

Food was really good…the only thing was the sliced beef to me had too much of a smoke flavor, although it was still really good. If you like the smokey taste then you will love it. Their chicken is really good!

I stop in every time I’m in St. Mary’s Co. I ordered the rib sandwich, and an order of fresh cut fries. The ribs were large and meaty. The fries were piping hot! I like the house barbeque sauce. There is a selection of other varieties of barbeque as well to try. The price is right.

When I tell ya’ll this place is on another level! The BEST brisket I’ve had in… my… life! It’s mouth watering, juicy & packed with that “off the grill flava”! & Don’t get me started on their homemade BBQ sauce! It’s pretty phenomenal! But don’t take my word for it-just try it for yourself. Looks like a hole in the wall but trust me- you won’t be disappointed. Also want to add that the fried chicken is “on point!”-thought my grandmama was back there cooking it up. Lol Anyway you gotta check out this spot. Its a tiny little place but the food is delicious & the staff is super friendly.
