I stumble upon this place, starving on my way from NY. I saw barbecue and said what the heck. I was thrown by the food in aluminum pans and grill in back, like I was at a family cookout. I had to wait a bit, like 15 minutes. Some people were picking up some big orders. Remember, I was starving, and this point committed. They packed my pull pork and 2 sides in 3 separated plastic containers along with a container of sauce. So, the presentation was not appealing. When I got to dig into my food, oh my. The food was delicious. I ate the pull pork and forgot the sauce. Damn I should have tried the sauce, starving remembered. Everything was so good. I wish I could stop on my way out of town. It’s definitely a good find. Tell a friend.

This is top tier BBQ. This place is literally a hidden gem. I ordered the half rack of pork ribs with a side of bake beans and green beans. The ribs are hands down the best I’ve had in Maryland. The restaurant is take out only but the service is fairly quick.

Had a taste for bbq ribs, not some chain cooked ribs, but old school, home bbq ribs, found Smokeshack and my oh my, I could not have been more pleased! Best ribs I have had since moving to this area, reminds me of Mississippi!! The Mac & cheese was amazing as well!!

Today, 6/25, was a very busy day for the Smoke Shack Team..but they worked it out! Patiently and focused on ensuring the customers got what they wanted. We got beef ribs today and let me tell you…they were 1000% “da bomb.” So good, so flavorful and more importantly soo tender….fall of the bone! I got the last slab! Sorry for those people behind me in line that wanted beef ribs. They were good and definitely worth the long wait. Thank you Smoke Shack Team….short staffed and all, ya’ll ROCK!!!

My wife & I went here and they forgot a whole side the pulled pork sandwich didn’t even come in sandwich form the bread was on the side I also didn’t receive my drink. Chicken was good beef ribs okay unfortunately when you go to a black establishment check your order.

Precovid the food was much better. Now Greens were very salty and chopped up way too much, meat was so chewy, with too much fat and kinda stringy. I hope as time goes on food will once again taste nicely flavored but not overly salty and the sauce will be as before, nicely tangy but not with so much vinegar
